Goghat is a Town in Goghat-i Block in Hooghly District of West Bengal State, India. It belongs to Burdwan Division . It is located 82 KM towards west from District head quarters Hugli-chuchura. It is a Block head quarter.
Arambagh , Tarakeswar , Bardhaman , Sonamukhi are the nearby Cities to Goghat.
This Place is in the border of the Hooghly District and Medinipur West District. Medinipur West District Chandrakona-i is South towards this place . Also it is in the Border of other district Bankura .
To reach GOGHAT you can avail train route or bus route. For Train route reach Howrah Station and Board any local towards Tarakeswar. From Tarakeswar take another connecting train towards Goghat .
From Outside of Goghat Station you can get Toto or Private car for sightseeing. You can visit Kamarpukur Jairambati from Goghat.
