Natural Evolution

Human populations depend on society and culture to survive. Both adapt to changing circumstances in environments and ecosystems by an evolutionary process similar to natural selection. Those populations which adapt better than others are the ones which survive. Every so often in human history there has been a fundamental change in our way of life, a paradigm shift, which has caused radical evolution of society and culture. In this, the first of 3 episodes on social evolution, we will explore the original human paradigm which began when humans first evolved as a species.
