2 years later, it is neither. Nissan hasn't delivered.

Compared to a Supra that is offers so much more for $5k more, it’s not a good deal. Nissan had 14yrs to release a new Z and they come up with a turbo 370z with updated center console

Not really.
Here in OZ they have had break failures that dealerships didn’t want to know about
And the rear end is really sloppy like grandma.
You can never say how good a car is until you have driven one for at least a year.

You guys are great, but I was a bit concerned in the beginning when you two big fellas were about to get in. Like trying to fit a ham in a taco shell.

Fun watching. Thx. I get why the Performance model has LDS. But the Sport should have the comfort package. Both models should have ventilated seats. On the plus side - it has Android Auto. Wonder if with out the huge Bose subwoofer, if there would have more “trunk” space. Shame as was hoping this would be the year to buy a Z as it always had a soft spot for me. It’s also July - I have yet to see any on the road. So for $52K plus. Will be a pass for me. But between this and the Supra if someone gifted me one or the other, Z would be my choice.

I understand there are lots of fans of this car. I like it myself. But i think Nissan missed an oppertunity here. The car is great in most ways. Offered with a manual, 400 h.p., and nice interior. But the exterior design is a little bland.

Supra was too. But at least Supra looks fresh with aggressive lines. This looks like a less aggressive 370z
