Mardi Gras is celebrated in USA (and France). It has basically the same concept of Carnaval. New Orleans is the city w/ most celebration of Mardi Gras because it was a French Colony

Spain is well known for its racism by a lot of people. Most strange to see them now dancing to a different beat. Trying to move with the times. I note that Spain's carnivals are blatantly copying the Afro-Brazilian and Caribbean islands yearly Carnival's Costumes/Music and Dancing. I get Notting Hill's Carnival, because of the Large Caribbean island community that live in the UK. However I am confused with Spain's copying antic's, when it treats people of colour in a RACIST manner!
