You may notice the rpm lock at low rpm transitions to regular voltage / pwm throttle at about 10% duty, so it will give load feedback and slow down until it hits rpm lock. This helps avoid breaking parts at higher throttle.
Looks awesome! I love it when 2 hobbies help push each other forward. Who would have thought making quads fly better would lead to us crawling slower. I'll be one of the few that miss the sounds from my revolver. Huge thanks to Pete Smits for making it all possible for us.
Nice video. Weight definitely makes a huge difference. My Fusion setup outperforms my HH setup. The drag brake on the Fusion holds the truck's verticle climb a little better and smoother on/off the throttle.
I got my Crawlmaster Mini installed on my Alcista/Capra conversion a few days ago. Finally some competition for the Hobbywing Fusion was my first thought. I also am running the Revolver V2 Snubnose 1800kv, and it is indeed quiet. Can't wait for the firmware upgrades in the future.
Sweet! Ive been running a spare esc from a X-Class Multirotor, on my Brazin ATL....no sound took some getting use to after running a mamba micro for a couple years😎
I have the rhino esc and program software...... do you know if the crawlmaster v2 can be programmed with the same software and programmer the rhino comes with. I couldn't get the v2 to connect, not sure if it's the esc issue or it needs different software
Nice video! That's really incredible performance for that weight. It's cool to see out runners and small escs that are so similar to FPV. Only other thing I was hoping to see is a top speed run. I do a mix of slow crawling and trail running, so I'm curious what the top speed is like on a rig with such good low speed control. Usually I just use a 2 speed transmission and deal with the extra weight, but I'm thinking that setup may be able to do without the 2 speed?
@@Furadi G8 in the long run are better in my opinion. Once the g8 material brakes in is as soft as brand new predator compound. But it will outlast and outperform the predator. I just installed g8 krawlers in my trx4 build. She performs great
What I found out for my rig is G8 is way to stiff even in 100+ degree weather. My TCv1 is about 5lbs though. I actually found the duratrax deepwoods to be better suited for really hot weather and use predators for everything else. instagram.com/p/CRC6Tc1FSih/
Nice you're the first one to drop the video I was waiting for this video thanks for sharing John should be proud that you made the video. 🤣😂🤣👍🏻🔥😎🔥🤙🏻 How you set your throttle curve what percentage if you don't mind me asking.

That build has come along nicely. Well done!
Wow it's a mini fusion just like the TRX 4 great video.
Great review!

Nice video bro. Where to buy the chassis and transfer box? btw, please test the drag brake.
Nice job. How does this esc compare to the Holmes Crawl master mini v2?

TBH I am more excited about the chassis/trans than the ESC but, great video man!
Same lmao

Good setup bro... I realy like it...
Some time I will be build like that...
cool job! big like!👍👍👍

Does an out runner motor have drag brake to hold a 6-10 pound vehicle on an incline/decline?

It’s defy a great review. I’d like to know more about the chassis as well
I want the chassis kit 😊
It's been released! negativegrc.com/product-category/lcg-chassis/
The TC is getting restocked soon. The CCv1 (capra kit) is currently in stock
@@Furadi tc it is. Because i have a lot of trx4 rtr 😆

I didn't even think about top speed. But really it's about the same as when I had the mamba micro in.
ciao dove posso comprare un telaio ....e la tranny come nel video?
grazie
o tutto il mezzo completo
2nd batch just sold out but here - negativegrc.com/product/tc-v1/
@@Furadi ok grazie ..... peccato.
Hey why did you swapped tires ?
hmm?
At the beginning of the video you had the trenchers on.
At the end you had the krawlers on
Ah I swap tires pretty often. I think that day it was 100 degrees so I was comparing the G8 krawlers to the predator trenchers.

First off, beautiful rig bro. Second, what sliders are those?
Thanks! The sliders will be part of the chassis system.
Tbh i am wondering about that chassis that shi wet wet bro do you know if its a direct switch from trx4 sport chassis ?
Yep and it'll include everything you need to do the conversion!
