Please make a video on In-depth Descript Tutorial. I searched and looked many but I learned more in your 2 min explanation than other 20 minute videos.
Thank you for this amazing tutorial! Your videos are always so helpful! I’d love to see a tutorial on dubbing in the future... You explain things so clearly-truly the best!
Great stuff as usual, Casey. I think the one thing that was missing for me - and something I am most interested in when it comes to these NotebookLM podcasts - is changing the voices. I just think these become obvious AI podcasts as more and more people start using the tool, so I want to separate things I want to do from this image of AI generated. I think it would be great for you to do another session on how to swap out the voice being used.
Agreed, this is good as far as it goes but it is only half-way there. Perhaps you can take the transcript and replace NMLM Male and Female with the names of voices you like in ElevenLabs and recreate the podcast there. Not sure of the costs involved. Also you really want to create avatars for the voices. I imagine youtube podcasts with the minimal visuals shown by Casey would have a limited appeal
thanks! to my knowledge this is not possible yet inside notebooklm. you could use eleven labs to recreate the voices from the transcript but that might be wonky. jelly pod may offer different voices as well.
@@BlazingZebra Thanks for taking tiem out for the reply. I have flirted with Elevenlabs but never been entirely happy and it seems onerous, Google should just release 100's more voices we could use. They would corner the market and I am sure they could charge for it. They provide the bulk of the work free in constructing the podcasts which are of amazingly strong quality for a first release (and second with the customization)
The way to do that would be to separate the speakers in an audio editing app. Export each speaker's channel to its own file. Upload to Elevenlabs and change the voices.
Great video! I have started making podcast on my channel using Notebook LM, Heygen and Capcut for editing. But I did love to know, Will contents made with this tool get monetized on you tube?
@@BlazingZebra You can also upload that as an audio file (instead of changing the extension) and still add a background stock video, and it will automatically convert it to a video. By the way, you had some great information in here.
Have you seen someone use the HeyGen avatar to add people to the Notebook LM podcast? I like your approach and it made me consider the avatar .... I could also try Synthesia
yeah, heygen is amazing but i feel those avatars are still a bit wonky and may turn people off if u are trying to reach a large audience. i am sure that will change in the future tho!
BZ, I purchased your patreon but its a LOT of information and I have VERY little spare time on top of not being very tech savvy. Any way I can Hire you directly??
@@BlazingZebra same thing, this is a bummer, i used perplexity spaces that worked fine. NotebookLm is overhyped and not as good as many are saying, its a slow clunky mess

i use the voice changer feature of elevenlabs to change the voice to my cloned voice or other custom voices.

Thank you.
Solid tutorial.
thank u!
Have you tried the AI in Descript to remove sections - instead of Claude?
i have used it to remove silences, i will have try it to do more! good suggestion!

Yes, your video is very great.
The only con is the amount of money you'll spend with so many paid tools.
Thank you! Awesome! As usual. How do I follow you at patrion? Don’t see any link
thanks!! heres the link - www.patreon.com/BlazingZebra
Great video, really ! What is your advice in this whole process to translate the podcast into European Portuguese and which tool(s) would you use ?
i have heard interesting things about ditto?

Another banger
one thing i didn't like about notebook lm is when I come back to my saved notes, I can't access the citations. google needs to work on that,.
weird! i wish i could name the notes!
Nice!
thanks!
is there an undo button on descript? I cant find one?
Can you use notebook lm to use one speaker?
Don't believe so
You can use eleven labs or ChatGPT for one speaker.

Looking for DEV co-founder for start up
If you use these AI features, you just have to make certain to click on the AI setting when uploading
No...podcast doesn;t work for corporate purposes. Google should just release a professional voiceover option.
Hi ! Love your content ! Interested in collab? :)
I uploaded 19 pdfs of a story I am writing and notebookLM wont query the documents, what gives??
weird, could u try uploading as word or text docs?
