Andre jackson jr has been statistically one of the best perimeter defenders in the league this year and brings an amount of hustle and athleticism that can’t be found in most of our other players. The way our defense worked when we were dominant under bud was that we had good perimeter defenders that could funnel towards brook and Giannis at the rim, which simply wasn’t possible to do without good perimeter defenders, which we lacked last year. Ajax allows us to do that.

While the strength of schedule is probably a major reason for the turnaround, I do believe that a very important step for any team wanting to contend is to beat the teams they are supposed to beat. Those were early in the season and Giannis and Dame has been so much better the past stretch and the bucks made some pretty key rotational changes. As a Bucks fan, it's a bit of both when it comes to Schedule vs actual improvement. We lost BADLY against BAD teams early on and the team didnt look coordinated at all. Now they've pulled it all together in a way that makes sense for them, and its just inflated-looking to some degree because of our schedule. AJ Green and Andre Jackson Jr have dramatically improved our defense and given the whole team a sort of identity on that end of the floor. Offensively Dame and Giannis are starting to click, both of them having insane seasons. It will translate against better teams, just not quite as well. I'm not so sure how we'll hold up in a series tbh, but i think as long as we keep pace we'll look this good all year maybe a bit better.

I've watched all or part of all but 3 Bucks games this year. Andre Jackson Jr. injects so much energy into the team when he's on the court. He's Milwaukee's best perimeter defender and his outstanding athleticism and grit allows him to more than hold his own inside. He's also a very good rebounder for his size and is likely the best offensive rebounder on the team. His playmaking is quite good as well.

Andre Jackson Jr is good because he's a an unbelievably good athlete and perimeter defender. He does all the little things that make you a good player similar to Alex Caruso. Great screens, rebounds the ball, high iq, defense is excellent, screen navigation, etc. AJ Green is similar in his two way impact. Andre Jackson is just needing to improve his offense, but he's hitting his corner threes and working effectively as a screen and roll, transition straight line drive and lob threat so it's working well.

Every night he gets assigned to defend the opponents best player and does an Amazing job! He is the first elite POA Defender we've had since Jrue Holiday left. He's virtually worthless on offense other than hitting a couple corner 3's per game. Ajax is a much more athletic very young PJ Tucker. But in the same breath we would get destroyed by the Nets and the Bulls. The biggest difference between now and then is Doc embracing our young role players like Green and Ajax, its allowed us to actually form an identity as a team. Andre Jackson is a high energy decent defender against a top option (and often the best option at times). Needs to work on the 3 and I think that high energy means that a lot the time it looks like he’s just running around out there. But as a bucks fan I’m optimistic that there’s a good long term role player in there

I’m keeping the same energy about the Bucks. Beating a string of bad teams can be a good confidence riser and help them beat better teams soon, but literally every team they’ve beaten this year has been multiple games under .500, except for the Heat who are currently 9-10 and a solid one point win against the Rockets. Though, in the Bucks defense, the Eastern Conference is so appalling so far this year that it honestly is just playing who’s in front of them.

I would agree if they were getting destroyed by great teams, but they were going shot for shot with Cleveland (Without giannis in one game too) and Boston, and if the Bucks can hang with those two teams while missing their 3rd star while also beating bad teams, that's a pretty good formula.

Doc Rivers deserves some credit too. Moving Andre Jackson in the starting lineup made the Bucks defense way better. He always guards the other team's best scorer (Cade, Lamelo, Herro, etc..) Trent has been scoring and shooting better off the bench. Pat Connaughton sucks and thankfully he's out of the rotation.

this year the bucks lost to the Celtics the first time was on a back to back the second time dame had a concussion going into the 4th because of a ref hitting him on accident both Cavs games were within a shot and one was won on a game winner and the Knicks were on a back to back all these things shouldn’t be ignored as well the bucks struggled early but there are a lot of factors as to why early growing pains included which is normal for a ton of teams when they really don’t have that many reps together and that’s not even mentioning the injury to treat right before season where he was coming out playing god awful as a starter until he took some time off to get healthy and coming off the bench as well as giving doc time to make adjustments with new pieces as well as old

I am not impressed with the Bucks. When the Bucks have 2 hall of fame 8-time all-stars in Lillard and Giannis. Giannis is an MVP and DPOY, a center who is a top 10 shot blocker in the league in Lopez, a top 6MOTY of the year candidate in Portis, and a top 20 coach of all time,in Rivers, and a small forward who led the league in midrange in K Mid, they should turn it around. The bucks got to make the NBA Finals or at least win a title, or the Doc hiring and Damian Lillard trade were busts. Greek Freak said out of his mouth last year, he will win an NBA title with Dame. I don't care that the Bucks have won 9 out of 10 and 7 in a win against mediocre competition. I give them a lot of credit vs a hot Rox team. Aside from that, they get little credit from me. If the Bucks make te NBA Finals, I will admit I was wrong.
