Just picked up a used 2022 Highlander XLE. It is extremely nice, I don’t know why anyone would have traded it in. These are also the last year for the V-6. I also have a 2020 Tundra with the 5.7. Sad to see Toyota go away from these as they are so reliable, you couldn’t convince me to get these new 2025 models that look and perform like crap.
We were considering getting a 2022 Highlander Hybrid. (Either a Limited or a Platinum) But then again I could not see us paying at least $10,000 more. So we settled on the RAV4 Hybrid Limited instead. Also the RAV4 gets better MPG. Still the Highlander rides Real Nice Like. 👍
Thanks, Jeff. I do have a question about the maintenance minder. On my Hondas, you could push a button to learn what % oil life you have remaining. But it appears the Highlander just lets you know when your oil is so low that you had better get it done pronto. Am I wrong? Gerry

Rav4 sold from January to September is around 33 thousands but the venza sold around 2400 only and the highlander sold around more than 15000 units and the venza looks awesome in and out. I have the 22 XLE - what is your opinion on the need for additional body side molding? I’m worried about door dings in my new car & skeptical that the moldings that come with the car at the bottom of the door will actually protect against all dings - is it worth another $350-500 to add them? Also, is it just me or is the multimedia screen BORING? Colors (other than blue or red) would be nice. Thanks for the informational video!
Love my 2022 I got it with 10k miles in June 2023, loaded with tax California license, DMV, blah blah blah blah blah 51K out the door, black interior, white pearl exterior… I feel super safe with my grandkids i this suv… I Collett grandma’s robot car

This was a good video but wish went into more detail with ventilation system. I’m a tech guy and still have issues with it. I have fan speed on notch 2 and the Rear will blow full speed. I mess with the toggle which draws a line on the UI which seems to reference it matching front settings. Yet still blows full. Auto setting once enabled is tough to disable. Idk guess I need to read manual more but prefer a video with visuals to match.

Why TURBO! Most people travel short trips and it takes a toll on the turbo and compression thus decreasing the longevity.
