I actually feel a little bad for Diana when 47 has Tamara sniped. Diana was clearly fond of Vidal; But Diana knew Tamara would eventually become a threat, she knew what needed to be done. Even though they liked each other. IO’s writing of Tamara Vidal’s character is on another level…

It's the Devs recognizing it happened but saying they consider the Hitman trilogy universe to be separate from the previous games. So they are basically saying it's not cannon but we don't forget
Until we get solid confirmation otherwise, I choose to believe that Absolution is still canon, just that some of its more outlandish ideas have been pruned out. Victoria most likely exists, but Absolution took place in 2012, while the current trilogy takes place sometime between 2019-2021, as far as we can tell, so she would be an adult by then (assuming she does age normally).
@M.B Since ICA being dismantled, Agent 47 and Burnwood now work for their own, would be interesting an young adult agent Victoria in their team, she was a female version of john Wick even before him.
I like to think that Diana's line about revolution being for the young was related to an adult Victoria going after a different Providence operative during the events of Hitman 3. It wouldn't be too out there to think that they had a hand in her creation too.
Can you believe the voice actor for Diana was nervous at the idea of doing her English accent? The best Diana ever.
I’m surprised
