We like both honestly. There’s something super wild knowing you’re so deep under water but yes, shallow dives will give you far more life. Deeper dives are great for wrecks
Awesome video, thanks for sharing your experience. Bonaire is a dream vacation for me, can't wait to make it out there. Also good filming and color correction, this was a lot of fun to watch.
2:11 AH - I LOVE WATCHING EELS SWIM! One of my favorite sights while diving, when they finally get out of their little holes 😝 Great video! I'm heading to Bonaire in August and this got me SO excited!
Thank you for this video. I have not dove Bonaire since 1999, and it is just depressing how much destruction has occurred over the years. I thought that I wanted to dive it this year to make sure, but now I can aim for other goals.
@@VeganVoyagers - It looks like you had a great time!! I wish you the best in your continued travels and look forward to your future videos. Thank you again!!
I lived there from 1992 - 1998 and visited in 2011. Then I noticed that there where 90% less corals. Personally I think a lot has to do with the dumping of all the sewage from the cesspools in the sea at the northpoint. They do this at Bonaire and Curacao. The nutrient values of the sea has skyrocketed, on my visit 3 years ago I even started to see green algea everywhere growing on the sand in the water. I would never see green algea back when I lived there in the 90's
This is a great video! We enjoyed watching and learning from it also. We would like to get into diving eventually. You’ve gained new friends from Florida 🤗
Very good quality video. Please name the camera, brand, model, you used to get these fine videos. Many thanks. I dived Cabo Verde, Mozambique and Red sea making some uw pics.
Unfortunately we don’t have out 8’s anymore so we don’t know what they were set to. It’s possible it upscaled when we exported from Final Cut because our main camera shoots in 4k
@@VeganVoyagers Thanks! I had a Perdix on order but Shearwater is having trouble sourcing parts they need to produce them I'm told. Maybe I'll see if I can find a Teric in stock.
Thanks for watching! Those are little clips that we can put our regulator mouthpieces into. Helps keep them off the boat seats or out of the sand between dives.
Note to Bonaire drivers: The Caribbean's fleet of vehicles are overwhelmingly manual transmission, so if you're like me and haven't even seen such a vehicle since the 1990s, you won't be able to get around.
Wow, super clear. Nice long shallow dives. I don't get wanting to go deep when the life is shallow.

Thank you for watching! We hope you get to Bonaire because it is incredible. Thanks for the compliment on the video!!
You figured the main thing in life- LIFE!
Planning to take my kids there to introduce to scuba

We’ve been fortunate enough to catch them a few times out and about! Enjoy your trip to Bonaire!!! The diving there is just incredible!
I'm loving these SCUBA videos!
Thanks so much! Glad you're enjoying them, we plan to dive in every country around the world, so stay tuned for the next one!

Such an awesome dive site. We did it a few weeks ago and loved it
Awesome, we had a great time diving in Bonaire! What site was your favorite?
This is a great video! We enjoyed watching and learning from it also. We would like to get into diving eventually. You’ve gained new friends from Florida 🤗
Awesome! You should absolutely learn how to dive, we're happy to answer any questions you might have too!
Love it guys ❤️great vid 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it! We loved diving in Bonaire, it was amazing.
did you film this with extra light or is the water clear enough to make this great video's?
Very good quality video. Please name the camera, brand, model, you used to get these fine videos. Many thanks. I dived Cabo Verde, Mozambique and Red sea making some uw pics.
Awesome video! What settings did you use on the GoPro 8? I've never had luck uploading videos that output 2160p like yours.

awesome!!
@salty reef
Thank you!
I love the display on your computer at 1:47. What make and model is it?
That’s a Shearwater Teric. We love them!!!

This is such a great video. Question: what are the colorful ball-looking things on your BCs? Thanks!

This is pretty true in a lot of areas of the world. Fortunately Aaron can drive a stick but we had an automatic on the island.
Epic video!
Thanks so much for watching!
Great video. What camera do you use for your underwater shots? I love animals!
Thanks so much! We use a GoPro Hero 8
@@VeganVoyagers Wow amazing shot. so clear under water. Do you go diving often?
We try to go diving as much as possible!
Love this video! We can't wait to go back to Bonaire. Did you make it to Karpata or 1000 steps?
We did not make it to either of those- something to look forward to when we go back next time!
I just did Karpata, it was stunning of course.
Let us know which reef you would most like to dive!
