Oh yes to Ren. Start with Hi Ren, the rabbit hole is deep. Paolo has been a favourite of mine for over 10 years. The album this song comes from, Caustic Love, is the best
Paulo is an amazing singer/songwriter. He marches to his own beat and doesn't get as much recognition as he deserves because he likes to keep a low profile - not a fan of fame and all its trappings. Doesn't like doing interviews and disappears for years on end. Then comes back with more wonderful music. Love him to bits. As others have said, No Other Way live at the Leon loft is another amazing live performance.
Great reaction guys 👌 You wont find another live performance where every musician are all 100% on point and together as one… Always a go to favourite, Paolo Nutini is so so underrated.
Paolo is amazing in the fact that, he is probably better live (can't say that for all performer!) than in the studio. Abbey Rd studios are legendary for the acoustics. Enjoyed your reactions very much.
Watching people react to this masterpiece is my favorite past time, I felt every emotion with you both. Everyone should hear this at least once in their life imo. Listen to Funk My Life Up live next!
Oh I’m excited for this. I love your reactions and Paolo has been one of my favorite artists for years. It’s so cool to see people discover his brilliance
Not often I'll say this, but this is better than both the original album version and the original official video version, both of which are different and worth a listen in their own way.
You have just entered heaven, what a guy outstanding performer you will enjoy everything this guy has done I am 70 years old and this guy is my favourite singer.
Such an amazing artist. Iron Sky is a masterpiece. I would highly recommend the song Everywhere because the song demonstrates his gorgeous, soulful vocals and builds up the intensity in the same way Iron Sky does.
Love listening to Paolo. I can hear his Scottish accent whenever he sings. Probably because he comes from the next town to me. His voice is amazing. Love pencil full of lead, new shoes, candy & Jenny don't be hasty but all his songs are amazing with his gravelly Celtic voice.
I always think that Paulo Nutinis "Pencil full of Lead" is one of the happiest songs ever, and his rendidtion of Burns' "A Mans a Man" shows just how great a singer he is, and poet Burns was
Always loved Paolo, he has an astounding an unique vocal ability. others of his to check out are Pencil full of lead, Coming up easy, New shoes, No other way, Scream, Numpty. All songs I think you guys will love. ❤
Iv been watching your Chanel’s past month & the reaction to our Scottish comesians then some pink floyd last night I was gonna say you should listen to our Scottish paolo nutini & the today you did ! Glad you enjoyed another Scottish legend a cry for freedom 🏴 ❤
Doesn’t matter how many times I’ve heard this song it still gives me goosebumps all over …it’s an experience ! Last Request and or Better man are also great songs ❤
thank you! enjoyed that - subbed for more paolo! so many great songs to choose from but these are my faves - no other way live at the leon loft, pencil full of lead live from 15 years ago, one day live official acoustic, everywhere live at the trnsmt festival 2022, better man live official acoustic - i could go on! ha, i don't expect you to watch all of these but pick any one - you can't go wrong. thanks again for sharing great music!
Wow finally you have discovered Paolo! I saw him perform live over 10 years ago and he is incredible… I have 2 favourite vocalists.. Paolo Nutini and Richard Ashcroft…. Two beautiful amazing singers
Additional info: Paolo is kind of well known in the UK but not massively. He rose to prominence in the 00s alongside a spike in Scottish performers like KT Tunstall, but maintained a steady fame and popularity among a live music audience. There's a level of authenticity there that keeps such talented people out of the superficial "pop" business while they still get massive audiences on tour and at festivals etc. Also, Adele was visiting Abbey Road and when she found out Paolo was recording she asked if she could sit in the studio and watch. She's allegedly said she was shocked and stunned by this performance and seeing him do this live in front of her really impacted her. So all throughout this just imagine Adele behind the cameras being awestruck lol And you can understand why. It's a phenomenal performance.
I love his 'Better Man' live acoustic video, check that one out, it's so beautiful. I love how his accent comes through in his voice, instead of every artist singing in a generic American accent.
Guys I was excited when I saw this reaction pop up, I could predict your faces 😂 it’s a song I play every so often, it gets me going, as you said it sort of empowers you
It’s always my afternoon treat to watch your reactions. I’d love to see you react to Ren, song Hi Ren, it hits different it’s a live performance 👍🇬🇧 There’s no issue of copyright strikes with this artist. Hi Ren is just one aspect of this artists phenomenal talent. You might wish to read his back story first? A second song for contrast is Back on 74/Message in a Bottle Retake. Thanks. ❤
1, " hot damm & woow !! " are the perfect initial reaction to Paulo 😃👍 2 , for a small country we've produced some epic talent musically 🏴🏴👍 3 a)" Last request " live on Jools holland was his 1st tv gig think he was only 17 b) " No other way " live at the Leon loft c) Candy " live at the isle of wight ..... many many more absolutely epic live performances from our wee legend but these are a great start to the rabbit hole.......... iv been requesting Paulo for over a year 🙈lol
Fell asleep in the front of the TV. Woke up to this on Jimmy Fallon’s show. Could not ignore it. Introduced it to my daughter. Now one of her favorite artists ever.
There’s a video of him debuting his first song ‘Last Request’ on a show called Jools Holland, he was only about 19 at the time, and his Scottish accent really comes through in that song. You must watch it!
One of my favourite tracks to see people react to. Glad you guys enjoyed that the way you did. Paolo is such a reluctant superstar. He could so easily have became a naughties indie poster boy, but he marches to the beat of his own drum. Seeing him live is a thing of beauty, one of the voices of our times. He just creates timeless masterpieces like it's easy. Drops a number one album disappears into the ether and then just comes back years later like a force of nature. Other good ones to check out are Candy live from Isle of Wight, anything from his Leon Loft set and a personal favourite a very young Paolo paying tribute to his grandfather with the song Autumn live from Bush Studios.
Got to see him perform this live this year, when he was supporting Kings of Leon in Hyde Park (where the Green Day fans singing Queen was recorded). Such a great performer live.
Paulo is one of Scotland’s greatest sons, he released this only a few months before Scotland had its vote for independence (funnily enough it didn’t get much radio play even though most his other music did) I met him once back stage at T In The Park (a old Scottish music festival) and he was down to earth and all about the vibe rather than a persona of star dome even though he’s a legend and national treasure Hope you check out more of his music
Wow, my favourite people reacting to my favourite singer 🙌🙌🙌 For me, Paolo is the greatest songwriter of our generation. Listen to the whole "These Streets" album. It's a piece of art and every single note speaks to you. Paolo taught me how to sing and I've been pulling birds with it ever since. Legendary musician, even better wingman 👌
Recommend ‘Scream (Funk my life up)’ live later on Jools Holland, and ‘Everywhere’ live in the bittersweet! Lucky enough to have seen him live in Dublin & Belfast. Luv him 😊
Paulo Nutini is beyond fantastic. He can take soul, reggae, folk, jazz and rock then blend it into his own unique sound. The only reason I can think of as to why he isn't the biggest act on the planet, is that he chooses not to be.

Arguably the greatest concert opening EVER!

One of THE best live performances of all time!!! &&& "Hi Ren" by Ren is a reaction MUST!!
Oh yes to Ren. Start with Hi Ren, the rabbit hole is deep.
Paolo has been a favourite of mine for over 10 years. The album this song comes from, Caustic Love, is the best

Paolo is the pride of Scotland he is amazing
Paolo is unreal, his earlier stuff is very popular, New Shoes, Pencil Full of Lead, ten out of ten, Candy, but that voice is just godly.
Best singer to come out of Scotland.
Annie Lennox might disagree.
So may Marti Pellow.
@@Grant-gk5mw How very modest of her.
@Grant-gk5mw they're both great.
He's humanity patrimony 🔥
Paolo Nutini
Now other way live at the Leon loft.
Goosebumps
Thanks for finding him.😊
Now your talking. Are you a buddy or weegie :-)
Thank you for giving Paolo your time. From a fellow Scot 🏴❤
Paolo - a Scottish 🏴 gem!!! Glad you loved this. Try a newer track - Everywhere. But make sure it’s the live version. Paolo must be heard live!
Perfect day to put this out

One of Scotlands rare gems.
And an added bonus is he is such a nice down to earth guy
I cant wait for you to hear more of him! His live performances are all amazing, my recommendation is "NO OTHER WAY"
My favourite Paolo sing ❤
Paolo has a great catalogue of songs, across a wide range of moods, from playful to soul.

What a banger, One of Scotland's finest...
Watching people react to this masterpiece is my favorite past time, I felt every emotion with you both. Everyone should hear this at least once in their life imo.
Listen to Funk My Life Up live next!
His breakout was when he performed “Last request” on the Jools Holland show. It’s a must listen 😜
Oh I’m excited for this. I love your reactions and Paolo has been one of my favorite artists for years. It’s so cool to see people discover his brilliance

I always loved These Streets by Paolo
For a softer side to Paolo you guys should check out his live acoustic version of 'Autumn' which he wrote about his grandfather... 😭
An amazing singer...took a break home in Scotland and has come back strong :)
Paolo is amazing! I saw him at the Isle of Wight festival and he doesn't disappoint when he performs live.
I always think that Paulo Nutinis "Pencil full of Lead" is one of the happiest songs ever, and his rendidtion of Burns' "A Mans a Man" shows just how great a singer he is, and poet Burns was

All songs I think you guys will love. ❤
Paolo is a national treasure , he never fails to deliver , an awesome live performer
when i read the title i didn't recognise the name for some reason before he even started singing i recognised the song. Proper tune
Autumn is a beautiful song.
Probably one of the best live songs you'll ever get to see..
It hits so much harder right now eh?
Beautiful reaction guys❤

The Jools Holland Live recording of Last Request is a thing of beauty.
@ Thank you…. just listened to this on Jools I agree it’s beautiful….

Oh Dear you have opened the Pandora's box that is Paulo and now and you will never ever want it to close again...
I'm so glad you eventually got round to listening to one of Scotland's best. I've had the privilege of seeing him live and he's so so good.
Wow finally you have discovered Paolo! I saw him perform live over 10 years ago and he is incredible… I have 2 favourite vocalists.. Paolo Nutini and Richard Ashcroft…. Two beautiful amazing singers
Now watch Paolo nutini perform no other way at the leon loft
It’s a toss of the coin between the Leon Loft recommendation and this performance of Iron Sky as the best live thing I’ve ever seen
Paolo Nutini is an incredible singer, writer and storyteller. Oh and his dad still has a fish and chip shop hee hee, keeping it real x

This song is amazing. I love this guy. Just so distinctive and different vocally.
Going to love Paolo ❤
Love Paolo, I have his ‘These Streets’ Album from back in the day when people still brought CD’s 😂…he’s super cool 👍
Brilliant reaction to Scotland's finest son...for a different side to him, check the song No Other Way live at Leon Loft, he is amazing
Proper talent!!!
As others have commented you should definitely check out Hi Ren by Ren. Amazing artist.
Yes. Agreed
I absolutely love him. And it was a recent discovery for me as well. You have to listen to a few more of songs.
Paulo is a Scottish gem. This performance has a timeless message, all his songs are good, some fun but also touching on reggae 😂
Paolo is brilliant - you are in for a treat.
I’ve seen this performance too many times to count but it still feels like the first time when I watch it along with reaction channels ❤❤❤
Eargasm every time. My favourite song ever!
Saw him in concert last year in Glasgow 🏴 our home town, simply phenomenal
Great reaction and a fantastic singer. He really has an amazing voice.
Absolutely stunning performance
Mass confusion spoon fed to the blind!!!!!!! What a line!!!!
Paolo is fricken awesome and definitely under rated
I love his 'Better Man' live acoustic video, check that one out, it's so beautiful. I love how his accent comes through in his voice, instead of every artist singing in a generic American accent.

such a beautiful powerful strong work of art this is. so glad you have found it. :) Saor Alba
You got to try this one of his next - Paolo Nutini - Scream (Funk My Life Up) [Official Acoustic]. Sooooo good
Recommend ‘Scream (Funk my life up)’ live later on Jools Holland, and ‘Everywhere’ live in the bittersweet! Lucky enough to have seen him live in Dublin & Belfast. Luv him 😊
No other way live is absolutely amazing. You guys will love it
Your faces when he belted out that gravel tone was priceless. He has some great songs but I’d highly recommend ‘through the echos’
'Scream - Funk My Life Up ' the live version is delicious.
You should react to some bbc live lounge performances
Amazing performance from a fantastic artist. Add in one of the greatest film speeches, ironically, from the king of the silent movie Charlie Chaplin
Adele was at Abbey Road when Paulo Nutini recorded this, she said it was the best performance she'd ever witnessed.
No she wasn't that is just a lie created by the internet.
Paolo’s passion just bled into the musicians- they were all 100% in that like it was their last ever performance 👊🏻
More Paolo nutini please, His song ‘everywhere’ is just as good! Take a look at his back catalogue
There's another music video to go with it. That's amazing.
Paulo Nutini is beyond fantastic. He can take soul, reggae, folk, jazz and rock then blend it into his own unique sound. The only reason I can think of as to why he isn't the biggest act on the planet, is that he chooses not to be.
Candy at the Isle of Wight festival is amazing if you want another great live performance.
Italian-Scottish are something different.
Texas' Sharleen Spiteri is another with that impact!
