This is beautiful - Danny Thompson is an under valued treasure - hundreds of recordings by dozens of artists have been enhanced by the deep rolling bass.
I attended this live a couple of years ago this is a fabulous recording. It was a masterpiece live, so many talented musicians in one room playing together.
Discovered Nick Drake some two years ago and love many of his songs. Still, with all due respect Zoe, somehow this rendering reminds me a lot of the Koln Concerts by good old Keith J. The chords and arpeggios you play at 3.17 etc...No must be a coincidence, love it no matter what
Nick was 22 when he recorded this. A testament to his genius. What a gift he left us all.
Masterful. Took a great Nick Drake song and made it even better!

Not this one:/
He’s a legend and highly regarded, he simply isn’t a household name.
I thought this was perhaps the best that evening. Zoe Rahman’s Indian style piano was perfect.
Yeah, I thought Danny Thompson's English style bass was perfect too.
I've grown to love India....the people are absolute professionals....
This was especially vibrant ....
I love INDIAN PEOPLE... nearly unrivaled in passion for life & career...😂💚🇨🇽🍄🌹🤓🙏
