FINALLY! Thank you for this. I was looking for a turorial without involving any waving fabric footage/mp4. I want pure animation, no matter how simple. Thanks again.
Hey! I made all the animation thanks to your tutorial. Thank you! I have now one concern, how can I actually turn it into a real flag floating in the air? Right now the animation is a straight rectangle, I'd like the flag to wave in the air attached to a stick. Any ideas how to achieve this? Thank you again!
This looks really cool, but man, do you realize that you used HALF of the video just to design the thing that will be animated? If it's an animation tutorial, make it about the animation. Just a feedback.
Thanks for the feedback, buddy! But hear me out, knowing how to design scenes in After Effects from scratch can save you loads of time and hassle with extra layers from other software. If it's not a complicated scene, I always prefer to create it in After Effects. That's why I show my design process in my videos - I want my viewers to do the same!
No but actually thank YOU so much for doing it from the very start. It is always nice to know how to create things from 0, not using pre made textures or effects. Like really how to actually make things YOURSELF. I value this tutorial a lot and i think if you keep providing tips on how making your own materials, your channel will become more valuable. Amazing job :D@@ValeriVisuals
@@ValeriVisuals I think its better if you show both the designing and the animation like you did. Maybe a timestamp for those who want to see just the animation could work.

I completely agree with you. Most people who wanna learn animation already know how to design.
