    Some people who can afford it actually pay more because of his generosity.     I want to work for the truck guy. Good hearted bosses that remain unchanged at the core from life are rare but oh so needed and appreciated. I'd die for a boss like that.

    It may seem like a crazy concept but our gourmet grilled cheese food place charges $9 for just the sandwich and they are on texas toast. 40% of that more that covers the cost of cheese, bread and anything else they put on it.
    I would expect this guy's prices are higher since he is in a bigger city and using better bread but in the end 40% covers the cost and then some. He is most certainly loosing profit per sandwich but if that concept doubled or tripled his sales he is as good if not better off for it.
