- A drive to Furka Pass, Switzerland.
The drive starts at the top of Grimsel Pass (2,164 m / 7,100 ft), and goes down to Gletsch located at the bottom of Grimsel Pass and Furka Pass. Then, the vehicle goes up to Furka Pass (2,436m / 7,992 ft) and down to Andermatt.
The downhill to Andermatt is fantastic and definitely worth visiting again.
This is a remake of the previously posted drive to Furka Pass with the color re-graded.

Thank you for sharing. I had fond memories of driving this same route in 1984. Back then the Rhone Glacier was over the lip and the Bellvedere hotel was still open.
I'm fascinated by this road, the views of it winding up and down the steep slopes, awesome👍... And the perfect weather, and the mountains as such, stunning 🌤💙💚!!

Down in Gletsch they leave the Grimsel Pass.
Above where they started they also leave Canton Bern.
To enter the canton of Valais.
At the top of the Furka Pass they leave the canton of Valais to enter the canton of Uri.

nur interessant rauf wärts, weil runterwärts verbraucht man zuviel Bremsbelag beim Auto, das ist der nachte Wahnsinn
Ich glaube, dass es mit einem E-Auto Spaß auch bergab machen kann, weil man bergab die Rekuperation beim Gas-Wegnehmen nutzen könnte. Dieses Fahren praktisch ohne Bremse nur mit dem Gaspedal hat mich bei Probefahrten schon begeistert.
Mag sein hab nur 1x so ein Ding probiert, hat mich nicht überzeugt und es wird Zeit dass die Elektromobile eingestampft werden
Wenn man gut runterfährt.
Dann verbrauchen Sie nicht wirklich viel Bremsbelag.
Wähle den richtigen Gang.
Es macht etwas mehr Lärm.
Dafür muss man aber weniger bremsen.

Switzerland has some of the most beautiful roads in the world. It's a shame that they are so anti car.
