- With an EcoBoost Hybrid engine and a new transmission, the New Ford Fiesta is more efficient, more responsive, and more fun to drive than ever
The self-charging Ford EcoBoost Hybrid engine is designed to make the New Ford Fiesta even more efficient. A 48-volt mild hybrid battery improves fuel consumption by giving an extra boost of power to help support the engine when needed.
Regenerative braking technology recharges the battery as you drive. The system captures energy usually lost when you apply the brakes, then sends it back to the hybrid battery to keep it charged.
There’s a sophisticated 7-speed Powershift dual-clutch automatic transmission too. With a low-weight design, more gear ratios and advanced dual-clutch operation, the transmission delivers responsive power and smoother gear changes to make every drive a joy.
Inside, a 12.3” digital cluster displays everything you need to know in high definition. The cluster also lets you know which of Fiesta’s drive modes you’re currently using. Selectable Drive Modes let you alter the performance settings of the vehicle to suit the conditions. Choose from Normal, Sport, or for maximum efficiency, Eco Mode.

This should've been sold in America as well such a missed opportunity.
Before considering you would be well advised to check the situation with the lack of specification compared to the pre-facelift model due to chip shortages.
Ford have to cut back on standard specification, but then increase toe price by an incredible 19%..........
Gave it a face lift for the worse. The original mk7 looked aggressive and sporty. This doesn't look sporty enough.
