  • UPDATE: The two-day free trial is no longer available. For more information about our latest services, please visit www.magellan-solutions.com/.
For business and outsourcing contact: www.magellan-solutions.com/con...
Job openings: We are actively seeking customer service reps, tech support and outbound sales agents. For more information, visit our careers page www.magellan-solutions.com/car...
The video sample is taken from our order taking call center and shows how a trained agent receives an order over the phone. For businesses, having an outsourced order taker improves operational efficiency and relieves employees from the time-consuming task of answering the phone.
Order taking over the phone is the preferred choice by customers. Because human interaction is important in the buying experience, talking to a well-spoken live agent may enhance the buying process to a degree that is profitable to both buyer and seller.
Outsourcing order taking also has the following advantages: phone coverage 24/7, streamlined service, professional and well-spoken staff, the ability to customize the service and assurances that all necessary technologies are up to date.
We provide great value on cost savings, improved customer service and scaling up on order taking. We'll be happy to hear from you soon.
Magellan Solutions is a pioneering and leading call center and BPO company in the Philippines. It is ISO-27001 certified and compliant for HIPAA and PCI DSS. As an outsourcing company in the Philippines, Magellan specializes in inbound calls and it also a top outbound and telemarketing company.

I've never worked in a Call Center where we should take order from English people. I find so difficult write the first and last name correctly, I can't even understand even when they spell it, the same with shipping address for example. I admire this girl and every person who speaks English fluently and those who can understand everything they listen over the phone. My mother tongue is Spanish so I've a really marked accent, If you listen to me you'll immediately notice that I'm a Spanish speaker. I've applied 3 times for a Call center job and I haven't passed the test, however, I keep studying every day, I hope some day get that ability to speak English fluently.

Actually, my weakest point is my speech. I stutter a lot everytime i talk in english or even in my dialect. I don't know why? Maybe i'm not used to talking to different people. And i really wanted to improve it. What i did was, i applied in a BPO company coz i want a job that's beyond what i'm capable of and being a call center agent is i think very challenging for me. Luckily, i got hired immediately and i am now a trainee. I hope i can pass the training and become the better version of me. ^^

+erickson peralta don't be. just go there and apply, let the chips fall where they may. just remember a couple things:
      1. americans suck at their own language the same way we filipinos suck at our tagalog. talk to a batangenyo and you'll see why.
      2. this lady isn't even that good, lots of slips if you';re keen e.g. 'thank you for that information' (instead of just saying 'thank you'), Thomas pronounced with 'th'sound instead of a plosive t. (feeling too lazy to type all the others -- other users already mentioned some like tonality, etc)
      3. call centers can't be too picky (if they were picky then they would have pulled out years ago). there are people who sound awesome on the phone and there are those who don't, and call centers know that. it takes all kinds. if you can converse in english, know how to shut down a computer, think on your feet and type relatively fast (30wpm isn't too shabby if you're just a beginner) even if you don't sound as good as you think this lady does, call centers WILL hire you.

Been in sales , customer service, rention (resolution) and re-instrument and I must say it was awesome but now I want to change industries as in South Africa the most recommended industry to work in is the public sector ( civil servant) call centres big in SA but we face a lot of unfair treatment and we often get dismissed unfairly if I were to go back would like to be a sales supervisor or QA agent.

Filipino Call Center Agents Advantages: Great communication skills (i.e., word pronunciation, enunciation, diction, accent, intonation, etc.), hardworking, dedicated, committed, and highly professional.
Filipino Call Center Agents Disadvantages: They are nowhere to be found but in the lunch room when MISS UNIVERSE is being aired. Call waiting gets too long, and agents are too hyper when they come back to their stations as their candidate wins the competition. (At least it only happens once every year.)

excellent good customer service. she is direct to the point and she did what she need to do. I don't understand those other comment kesyo robot daw. the main thing is you address what the customers need. Hindi mo kailangan makipag chikahan sa customer especially if they call overseas. its really expensive you know!

Actually guys, there is no such thing as a "pure" or "neutral" American accent these days. People are scattered all over the world, bringing with them their culture from where they came from, that includes the way they communicate. Communication is the main key. Whether you like it or not, change is inevitable. The American accent we know before may not be the American accent we encounter today.

Hello April, I just went through your comments ... let me tell you this is perhaps the easiest job on the planet .... I have worked for international voice process for 7 years .... I was from a different field but as I wanted a change, this was perhaps the most happening thing at that time ... I applied for an international bpo voice process job and got selected .... but the job was in another city and I had to leave for that city .... I did not know anybody and was from a different field altogether .... I got my training along with others and in a couple of months became one of the best performers in the company .... i have seen so many nervous people become wonderful performers ... i was also intimidated at first but overcame my fear and became successful .... the only thing to remember is active listening and resolving the customer's query pleasantly with a smile no matter how irate the customer is .... Good Luck to you.

Hope I can do that especially nesting and also I am hoping to recall/retain all of those lessons that will be tackle from our coaches/trainers this upcoming classroom training that will happen on December. wherein it will test my communication skills in english fluency by taking an actual/live calls from native english speaker. hopefully I can survive and passed these two training and be endorse eventually to the production floor. In God's Grace. Amen! 🙏
