Happy belated Birthday. Thank you for sharing your birthday presents with us here on the tube. You are the gift though. May your year ahead be fabulous, and may your wishes come true.
Happy belated birthday Elaine ❤ what wonderful gifts you received. I celebrated mine in September and it suddenly hit me this is my last year in my 50’s 😕😂 Can’t wait to see you use your new cards Take care 😊
@@christineatkinson6863 Thank you so much Christine. Yes, facing the realisation that we are heading into another decade is quite a wake up call isn't it. Also looking back makes us realise just how quickly time flies and how much we change as we get older. Life eh! 😀❤️🙏
I am so glad you had a wonderful birthday, what lovely presents. Those ancestral path tarot cards have such strong images, hope you enjoy working with them.
Belated Birthday Wishes Elaine !! ❤❤❤ I always love your book choices but let me share one with you. I am reading The Gathering by Katherine Genet and really enjoying it. It's the first book in the Wilde Grove series so looking forward to reading more. It is beautifully written and very witchy so I think you would enjoy it too. Thank you for sharing your lovely gifts with us ❤
@@jannet4451 Thank you so much Jannet for both the birthday wishes and the book recommendation. I will absolutely look out for the books. Much appreciated 👍❣️🙏
@@the_hermits_cave Thank you Simon. I was very lucky. It was a great birthday. We spent it in Glasgow and our three children joined us, which made it all the more special. ❣️🙏
@@Jo_-_-t.a I have been very spoilt indeed. The book I am waiting upon is called 'Pages from a Welsh Cunning man's book, from 19th century Wales'. It will be interesting to read how 'Cunning Folk' were treated and accepted. Anyone who worked with herbs or anything deemed as magic were considered as cunning folk. I am hoping it will arrive today 🤞❤️🙏
@ElaineMurphy66 ooo that sounds really interesting. Cunning Folk! You are an expat, Cunning person! Really interesting 19th Century? Not that long ago, in history terms. Enjoy yourself and have a great day!! X
@@Jo_-_-t.a thank you. I will look forward to sharing this when it's in my sticky paws. Yes that's right the 19thC being the 1800's which would have been in the life times of my great grandparents. It should be quite interesting. Thank you so much, you have a good day too 🙏❣️
I have that deck, in the same version you have showed in this video. I never had the older version of the Ancestral Path deck that was smaller. I love the artwork on this deck. I work with it only in short spreads because its size prevent me to use a Celtic cross spread, for example. However, for a 5 o 6 card spread it works beautifully.
@@marciemckennatarot Yes that is something that would be the only draw back. Larger spreads would have to be on a large table or even on the floor. I totally agree. As you point out, the art work in this deck is beautiful. I will be planning my year ahead reading for myself this week, as I am thinking of doing it from birthday to birthday rather than Jan to Dec. It will be interesting to see what advice for the year ahead ancestors will provide me with. I tend to plan huge readings for my year ahead using multiple decks, I think 3 to 5 cards on the ancestors section will be perfect. One for the channel perhaps? 🤔🙏❤️
