2023 New York City Marathon. What an Experience! Episode 1

  • I finally made it to the big race! This was a 4 year in the making experience and glad that I was finally able to do it. Temperatures was rather hot during the day but with a late start and daylight savings working against me, it got really cold when the sun came down.
    The route started from Staten Island over to Brooklyn then Queens to Manhattan, a quick dip into the Bronx, then back to Manhattan straight to Central Park for the finish.
    As you can see in the video the NYC crowd is something else, as lively as ever and I can see why this is one of the best marathon experiences in the world. Its like a giant block party that goes on for 26.2 miles!

    Mad respect for finishing, I started a few waves earlier so I had the advantage of finishing before it got dark. Congratulations on this massive achievement.

      @@jkoyamavlogs agreed....I try to tell people if you are going to run one marathon, make it New York. I ran it this year and in 2021 and I can't wait to run it again.
