I see nothing WTF about Paul Stanley's speech. He was just saying how all the critics said multiple times they wouldn't succeed, and the fans proved that wrong. No craziness here.
Kiss are the uber cringe band. Soft rock for people who think they are hard. A pop band in tights and makeup. But, and it's a Paul Stanley sized but, they have made bank, many, many times. For an average pop band staffed by fugglies, they have done very well indeed. Can't take that away from them.
These are the only three I remember personally sitting through: 1) The Dead Kennedys at a club show in the 80s. Had everybody in the crowd sit down while he talked. 2) Disjointed Axl Rose during a Guns N' Roses concert (Skid Row opened). 3) Ted Nugent bitching and moaning about politics when he opened for KISS.
Manson has me LMFAO every time I see that clip. "Everyone thinks I'm drunk, but I've been.. like.. sober for like... the past 15 minutes, right?" *casually sprinkles yayo on the audience "I'm a good Samaritan..."
