This video is special, my first Hot Tent Camp of the year and first time using my new canvas One Tigris - Conifer tent.
It was actually more of a glamping trip this time, since i parked my car close to my campsite, I could get my chair, a little table and wood briquettes for the tent stove.
I cooked a nice Balkan dish and smoked a pipe in the evening. I had a really good time!

I just got the Conifer hot tent. Heavy for sure. The stakes are solid. I cant wait to use it. I also purchased the Dragoon bivy by Dragoon Unlimited to act as an inner mesh tent because it has 2 side entries. For when i take the dogs with me or it is buggy out. How do you like the Conifer? There is a Polish company called Bushman and they make a bivy called the Lodger if your interested as it is European and may be a bit cheaper. The Dragoon is just over a $100.00. I just wanted to get your thoughts on the conifer. Very popular in Japan but i cant undertand a word they are saying. Tons of videos with those guys using the Conifer. But when they go they camping, it seems , they bring with them everything but the kitchen sink. Lol. Its juat the way they camp. Which is fine. I do enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work.
Thanks a lot Scott! I actually really like the tent. Although the a frame poles broke during some heavy snowfall, when I had the tent pitched behind my house for 2 weeks. Now I have to use an external tripod or a canter pole. But the tent is still great! I got some inner mesh tents which I use in the summer, don't know from which brand. Best regards 👊🏽🏕️🔥⛰️❄️

Thanks bud, yeah the wood briquettes come in really handy, especially in winter when everything is wet. But the car must be close to your camp site 😄I got always a few packs at my permanent shelter for my hot tent camps. 👌🏽🔥🏕👊🏽

ich wollte grade "glamping" schreiben als ich deinen text das gleiche gelesen habe 😂 frage zum zelt - kann es mithalten mit den alten zeltbahnen in punkto dicke vom material? ich hab mir die one tigris canvas zelte schon oft angeschaut. das problem sind die versandkosten.........du hast es sicher umsonst bekommen also wird dich das nicht kratzen..😛🤣
Hey, also von der dicke her ist es schon deutlich dünneres Material als die alten Zeltbahnen. Trotzdem wiegt alles zusammen knapp 7kg.. Ist also nix für längere Wanderungen. Aber bietet durch das Fenster hinten, wirklich viel Platz! Lieben Gruß 😊👊🏽🏕🔥🌲

I wish you would stop doing that....when you arrive at site, and commence the set-up process, I pause the video, grab my bug out bag and hit the trails. No house work gets done....NONE !! The music, fire, candles, tarp...who wants a house anyway ? Cheers!
