I think the reason a lot of people don't like Sansa is simply that they forgot to watch her closely and didn't notice her changing. She started as a child, and did childish things. But she was a survivor for most of the show, and it made her strong, and smart, and angry. Until season 7 we hardly saw any of that in action, but now we are all looking back and realizing that she did change, and now she can act on her rage with all the intelligence she has learned, and really she is just an incredible character and I can't wait to see her take her vengeance.
I loved her so much before season 8 Now that she is so mean to danny i cant love her the way i dud before But this vidro help me to undress why she cant ever never trust a stranger And danny is a stranger
Oh no. We noticed her change. We noticed her change into a cocky DUMBASS! Her character exists simply to cause tension. She was SERIOUSLY worried about feeding the army that had came to SAVE them. Maybe she should worry about surviving the battle between the living and the dead instead of worrying about what comes after. If I'm running from a lion who is trying to eat me... I am not concerned with the fact that I forgot to pack a fuckin snack. SHES DUMB
It pains me how much she's underrated. This girl suffered so much on an emotionnal level , and yet she has the best character development. She made mistakes, and she lives every days regretting it, and get out stronger. This precious soul deserves more love.
Everybody please remember that whilst the actor is older, Sansa was only 13 years of age, at the time she watched her dad's head get lopped off. When you hate on Sansa for being whiny, or for not fighting, or whatever, you're hating on a 13 year old girl whose gone through torture and torment.
Sophie Turner (actress of sansa) was actually 14 when they were filming first season. In the books also in the show Sansa looks old for her age with her height, face etc. Thats why people I think sometimes she was just a young girl at the beginning
Arya was younger And she did fight the rest of her life to revenge her father And fight besides her family. Sansa did literally nothing but cry and complain on how much she suffer, when they all suffer the same and they all fight to get what they want
Vanessa Villa Well she was alone. No one to trust for sure among the family who killed her father... And she know those people are smarter than her her only option was to keep her head down and survive..
@@esbeelavallee2568 i still feel she could've done something else, make a plan to scape, or something like that, but all she did was cry and be sorry for her life, i think i only remember seeing arya cry once, and then she only fought and fought till she became good enough to fight for the injustice that she suffered. It's like in real life, if you want something or you complain for something you don't have you gotta fight for it
I love Sansa. She's flawed, but I think she's a reflection of many of us who aren't like Dany, Jon, Bran, or Arya with these super-power like abilities or resources. All she has is her humanity and human abilities. This video brought two things to my attention. 1) Despite being a manipulative bastard, Baelish' speech was really quite amazing and inspiring. 2) what Brienne said to Jaime made me love her more. Despite in the surface having more in common with Arya, I think she understands Sansa better than anyone, and in the heart they have the most in common. The perseverance while remaining beautifully human and good. I truly hope Sansa doesn't disappoint!
Lynsi Keye neither Arya nor Jon had superpower abilities. Arya survived through sheer will power before her arrival in bravos where she trained to become an assassin. Before then, she had no abilities. Jon literally died for what he believed in
@@lorrie9462 But Arya was a 9 year old girl learning to sword fight. And she was about 10-11 when she became a faceless assassin. That's pure fantasy. Jon faced off against what are essentially snow zombies, died and came back to life; not to mention he's a secret Prince; all fantasy. Sansa was surrounded by reality all around. She wasn't facing white walkers, or pulling faces from enemies to wear them. She had no special sword skills or anything like that. She had her courtesy and her willpower, and that's what helped her get by. Sansa faced not the monsters of fantasy, but the monsters of reality; abusive boyfriends/adults, sexual predators, manipulative users, etc.
People, both male and female, hate on Sansa because of internalised misogyny. She is mistreated, abused, raped and tortured constantly and yet people call her weak and stupid, blaming her, the VICTIM, of what others do to her. This summarises the whole problem in our patriarchal society. She is the victim. She is not to blame. She is not weak or stupid, she is stronger than many of the male characters in this series and especially than those who that have tortured her so much. + this video portrays her strength and braveness so well. Love it!
This is bs,woman being misogynistic towards other woman? that makes sense to you? And for the man, i think the majority is just in love with her, like me.
MrAtilla6666 lol yes? That's why it's internalised. We're taught to be like that just like you are. We're taught to blame the victim, as are you. That's why they teach us how NOT to become the victim before teaching men to not become the aggressor. It's our culture and we all go through this way of thinking before actually getting informed on what this is. Myself included.
Megan Seriously? You're going to turn this into a bullshit feminist issue? You people need to disappear. You're part of a movement that's eating away at 1st world nations.
Megan this is very true. Women are internalized with misogyny as well and it's something we all must work on. To another commentor of course this is a feminist issue. The problem is why is there such a problem with that? It baffles my mind that there are people out there who hate a movement that is about treating people with humanity, respect, equality, equity, acceptance and just love in general. Why are people so against that? Perhaps because the media tries to warp it and like all movements there are idiots ie "feminnazis" who try to undermine the good essence with hatred which is the opposite of what feminism is about. But yes Megan this is very true your comment I think that has a lot to do with the hatred for a lot of people even if they don't realize it :)
Emotionally speaking, she is the strongest and most fortified character. She endured torture, manipulation, rape, and being made a pawn of. I love the reversal of roles between her and (You know who) at the end of Season 7. She's grown from an inexperienced pup into a full grown wolf.
Yes! And I also think people compare her with Danny but Danny had people around her all the time who loved and supported sansa basically had no one through the hardest times until she was re united
People don’t like Sansa cause she’s realistic. She’s not a “weak” character at all. It’s just that she’s constantly being compared to women who are UNREALISTICALLY strong.
She was an ordinary girl with ordinary dreams. That's what makes her extraordinary. She survived what most of us could never endure, and she did it without super fighting skills, or dragons, or magic. Daenerys and Arya fit the mainstream idea of a strong female character, but Sansa shows that femininity, gentleness, and kindness are not weaknesses. A maiden can be just as a strong as a warrior.
She's from the very begining my favorite character. She has faced the WORST since the very begining (remember Lady... she paid for Arya's mistake), she has survived, with bravour, and honor, keeping pride of her starks's blood, she's the strongest of them all, she's the quiet storm, the one who can survive to anything. One who has not turned into a complete evil person. I find her punishment with Ramsay pretty wise, eaten by the only ones he ever trusted, she gave him a proper end with that final lesson: "don't trust anyone and don't underestimate me never again". If she wants the power it's because she wants what she has a right on: winterfell and the North. She wants the name of her family to be restaured, she has no such pretentions of being "the ruler of the seven kingdoms". She is doing what is the only thing to do: taking back her home, her kingdom in the name of her family and for the people of the North, and she's ready to avenge them all now. She's ready, she needed tor learn things ... She has silently maid her way, she was an observant one, some saw it as a weakness but she learned a lot, directly from her family, then from Cerseï and Joffrey, the Tyrell, littlefinger, her aunt, Ramsay, etc ... she knows a LOT of things now. She's resilient, and now, way more wiser, stronger, focused, she's a woman, a Lady, almost a queen ... a fighter with words, with the power of seducing those in front of her. She knows exactly now how this world works, and she will keep on going silent, as a wolf she has endured this long night and now is ready to roar, growl, bite for the good of her family, her kingdom, the North and her people. Long live Sansa. She is a mix between Elisabeth of York and Elisabeth Tudor to me. Two survivors and two powerful queens, because of their abilities to survive of the worst. As Tyrion once said "Lady Stark...you may survive us yet."
In the case if lady, Sansa is at fault Due to her lying to the king. The death on Ned Stark and their fifty plus Entourage, also on Sansa due to her betraying them to Circi Lanister. Due to her causing the death of her father, it is arguable that she also caused the war of five kings. If she didn't do any of these things, she would never have lost Lady, her father, brothers, teachers and friends would still be alive and a war could have been ( potentially) avoided. Typically, I speak in defence of Sansa, but your inability to see her flaws made me feel obligated to oppose you....maybe If grow to fond of playing Devil's Advocate...
erik diaz Also Ned sealed his own fate by trusting the wrong people and blabbing to Cersei about his knowledge of her incest. His weakness was assuming everyone was just as honourable as he is. All Sansa did when she told Cersei of her father's plan was ensure she stayed at King's Landing. Ned was a dead man before Sansa told Cersei
I wouldnt say since the beginning she faced the worst. Also she could have chose to tell the truth and her family. Things would have turned out better if she did
Lily Rösiana They still would've gone to KL if she told the truth about Joffrey and Arya. And Ned trusted the wrong people and made the mistake of assuming Cersei would do the honourable thing and go back to Casterly Rock. Sansa telling Cersei of Ned did very little
Everyone disliked her since the beginning of the show, but I always thought she was exactly a girl in her age would be. Every girl would dream of something fancy, a charming prince to sweep her off her feet, a lovely castle to call her own some day. Maybe it is stupid and childish but she was a child back then. Things she has to gone through were terrible and not every person can be rebellious and strong, fighting her way through it like a warrior. She was naive and perhaps fragile, yes, but who wouldn't be in her position. I always cheered for her, wishing she would be safe and happy. I love Arya too, but that never deterred me from loving Sansa as well. The Stark girls are always favorite of mine, and it doesn't bother me at the least that Sansa was normal and too realistic. I think she is absolutely brilliant.
People rushed in to judge Sansa only cause as a girl she dared to dream big, but she was polished her entire life to be a lady (note the direwolf refence). However, none of what happened was her fault. Ned Stark didn't go to King's Landing because of her, but because he felt it was his duty to serve the realm. However, she is the Stark child that suffered the most. We do not even get all the inormation about how Ramsay abused her, we know what he did for her wedding night but not everything. Also, she was completely alone since Ned lost his head, and she was so young. She deserves higher praise for surviving all the chaos and daring to free Winterfell (even tho Jon led the army she was the one who pushed him to, and he didn't even want to at the begining).
This make me cry a waterfall... I didn't like her in the start of the show. But then i realized that she was a *child*. Raised to believe in fairytales, be a lady and marry someone wealthy. A reflection of a big part of the women's childhood. She had her life ruined, family killed, humiliated, raped and didn't fall apart. She managed to fucking survive without weapons or the fighting shit of Arya. Even passing in a lot of crap in HER HOME, she still fought to take it back. (Was Jon interested at doing this in first place? I think tf not.) She's a powerful leader and knows how to play the game. She's the real queen in the north. She's Sansa Stark. Even without dragons, fighting skills or supernatural bullshit, she's wise, been through a lot of crap in her life, but she's alive. She's a survivor. And that's why i fucking love her.
Lina Stark Arya didn’t survive because she was good with a sword (she wasn’t until ~season 6). She survived because she was smart and made allies, even without meaning to. She became “friends” with the Hound, and saved No-One’s life. So I don’t understand where her “fighting shit” played a role. I mean, they’re both fighters, Sansa AND Arya.
I like Sansa because she is simply being a GIRL. No protection she has during a lot of seasons: no dragons, no army, no faceless and direwolf. So hard to be just human in all that hell. Love her. Hope she will be the Queen .
I Think the reason people dont like sansa, is because they see their flaws in her. They rather want to watch superheros like daenerys or margaery, who dont have any weaknesses. But Sansa is proud, idealistic, can be hurt, selfish, pragmatic, dreamy, creative and direct, yet subtle. She owns her humanity and embraces that. She is the most relatable and that scares most of us. You edited this really well and thoughtful. 🌠
That superheros part also applies to Arya. And the Sansa haters just choose to ignore that she did grow up and mature a lot from that little girl she was in s1. And ppl forget she was only 13 in s1. Not saying that excuses her actions then, but she doesn't deserve to get judged so harshly for them.
eligirl100 small brain: sansa is annoying big brain: Sansa is only annoying in S1 Galaxy brain: Sansa was never annoying, she was a naive 11 yr old girl who wanted to become queen so she played the game by lying about remembering
Probably the best Sansa tribute. It really highlights her journey and I think more people ought to watch this so they can see clearly the path she has taken. People took her as the weaker Stark because she started out as the 'conventional' female, loving feminine things with dreams of pretty dresses and becoming queen, whereas her sister was a tomboyish fighter which for some reason automatically equates to a strong female character. I feel a lot of people have now come to terms with just how strong of a character Sansa is, but there's always those that continue to call her weak and bratty and selfish, but these people are stuck in the mindset that she is still the child she was in season one, and that's far from the truth. As Sansa herself admits, she's a slow learner but she learns, and I believe she is right where she was always headed- the Lady of Winterfell.
People hated her because in the beginning she lied to protect herself and was whiny and annoying. People liked Arya because even though she was younger, she didn’t allow herself to be intimidated
To add to Arya being a strong female character, Sansa is absolutely strong too, but in a different way. People forget strength doesn’t always mean fighting skills or ability to carry heavy objects. Sansa’s strength lies in every terrible event and loss she’s gone through and overcoming them, growing and learning. She did what she had to do to survive in her situations. She also already acknowledged she was terrible when she was younger, but now she’s a leader, and survivor with the mentality to play the game of thrones after learning from the best. I truly admire Sansa and her development over the past seasons.
I used to hate sansa. but as I grew up I look everything differently now, so did sansa. she's seen the world and she changes to become someone better in her world. that's why I adore her so much!!
It's the fundamental reason that Sansa remains a figure of good in the world of Game of Thrones; she may have been through some of the ugliest trials, but she also knows the good in the world. She knows how important honour, loyalty, and trust are in a world so full of darkness.
The underrated, quiet strength of Sansa Stark: Sansa has endured more unjustified cruelty than all of the Starks combined. She was the main subject of Joffrey's torments and abuse for years. He gleefully tortured her psychologically and seemed at his happiest when Sansa directly suffered, mocking her losses and shoving that pain in her face, threatening her because he knew she knew what he really was: A scared, pathetic little boy trying with all his might to be big and strong. And if you think she couldn't do any worse than Joffrey, you'd be wrong. She escapes him just to land in the hands of Ramsay Bolton. Ramsay Bolton, who flays people alive for shits and giggles. Ramsay Bolton, who hunts people like animals and feeds them to his dogs. Ramsay Bolton, who raped her and beat her and forced her childhood friend to watch as he did it. Yet, through all that, she never forgets who she is. She's literally seen the worst side of humanity but still believes in them. She still sees the good in people after enduring two people who can only be described as pure evil and a jealous queen who isn't much better. If it were anyone else, they would've broken a long time ago. But not Sansa Stark. The pain only made her stronger and wiser but no less compassionate. "Lady Stark, you may survive us yet." -Tyrion Lannister
The reason why so many dislike Sansa is because they see their flaws they hate themselves for reflectied in Sansa. I can see no other good explanation for so many haters..
She is an ordinary girl who did extraordinary things.None with an ordinary eye could appreciate that. She was a simple human being who learned to survive without any superpowers.
"I`m a slow learner..that´s true...but i learn ! Thank you for all your many lessons, Lord Baelish. I will never forget them." Thats the point. ! Mistakes, we all made, are just the way of life, to learn and do things better than before. If you are willing to learn !!
Such a beautifully created character! Strong, compassionate and smart. It’s a shame that most people can’t look beyond the teenager she was at the beginning!
I dont like how she is so underrated! Many people stuck with the image of season 1 whem she was only a child. She is easily my favourite character, with one of the best character growth in the story, who learned from the bests (Little Finger, Tyrion, Cersei, etc) without making their mistakes once she learnt. A great queen to their people.
Unpopular opinion: I always liked her, even in season 1. I still love her no matter what, but I just thought she was so adorable and carefree in s1. The only thing she did that I didn't agree with was lying about not knowing what happened in that fight with Arya, that butcher boy, Joffrey, and Nimeria. And Joffrey had me fooled, too. I really thought he would keep his promise to Sansa and not kill her dad. Sansa spent the rest of s1 doing what she could to prevent her father's death. Then, when Sansa started to see Joffrey for what he is in s2 and was all: "or maybe he'll bring me yours." to Joffrey, my respect for her grew, and I knew she would become stronger and smarter from that point on.
Jayati Bhattacharyya she's incredibly savage if you think about it. Also the way she reacted to Joffrey all the time, low key insulting him without using any direct words. That's pretty brave
I cried while watching...Survivor. What a correct word of choice... she has portrait a real pain what most of the woman has to go through their whole life...still so strong
This video is so beautiful and it reminds me of why I love Sansa and why I have always loved Sansa. I mean, beyond loving her sass she’s pure strength. I think a lot of people dismiss her because she’s utterly feminine and that’s such a mistake. Sansa survives almost on courtesy alone, that’s so hard. Courtesy and well timed sass and the bravery to continue on in a world that betrayed and failed her. Sansa Stark is amazing. I’m so happy to have found this fan-vid and to have found her character. Thank you for your hard work.
@Kep Trefler, you're so right. I know so many people who hate Sansa just bcoz they think she has no purpose in the show and just being a pretty flower. They all root for Dany, Arya, Brienne, or even Cersei just bcoz they have this obvious power of being "strong" as in wielding a dragon's power, sword, being an assassin, and clever manipulation. They hate her coz she doesn't have all these abilities. But what they forgot is she's the most human female character and even one who is the most relatable. I've always loved her character and it really makes me sad that a lot of people don't see her purpose in the show.
Luckily she was surrounded by cynics (Cersei, Olenna, Margaery, Littlefinger). In contrast, Daenerys was surrounded by flatterers and ex-slaves who worshipped her.
I never understood why so many people hate her, maybe it's because we can't see her fighter's temper as much as Arya's. But she's so strong. After everything she's been through, I'm so glad she's the Lady of Winterfell. She proved wrong to those who said she was useless, because Jon couldn't have been able to take back Winterfell without her. She turned into a wise and brave woman, able to do whatever it takes for her house and family. She looks more and more like her mother.
At the beginning she was only a child who wanted to live a fairytale. You forgive Arya because she wants to be a knight but you don't forgive Sansa who wants to be a princess ? What is so interesting about her character is her transformation. And you can't say she's stupid or idiot now. I actually think she's one of the cleverest alive characters. She has learned so much by living with Cersei, Olenna, Margaery, her aunt, Baelish... She proved it by helping Jon. Half her family was murdered, she was persecuted, abused, raped, survived Ramsay and Joffrey. So yeah, maybe she is selfish because she yearns for power and revenge. But who wouldn't after a life like that ?
You should not have such black-and-white opinions about the characters. They evolve, and this is why GoT is such a good show. As a matter of fact, Arya is far from being perfect. And Sansa is not either. As a child she was naive. Just remember that those who decided to murder Lady and the butcher's boy were, first and foremost, Robert (who guessed easily the truth) and the Lannisters, don't invert roles. Yes I like her, not because I feel sorry for her. I like her, not because of her misery but because despite it she has proved her resilience, her strength and the love she has for her house - she used it to be stronger and stronger. Also because she admitted the mistakes she made as a child, like being mean to others. Sansa doesn't care only about herself. She cares about her family and the North. She is the one who urged Jon to attack Ramsay to take back Winterfell AND save Rickon. You want proof of her good heart ? Look at the scene where she hugs Jon and Bran. Look at the scene where she offers Jon a cloak she made. It's impossible to think she's stupid and not caring after seeing these.
Sansa is a perfect example of what doesn’t kill u makes u stronger One of my most fav character, her character development was everything I am proud of the strong women she became
Her acting performance are STUNNING I just can’t speak when I watch her I’m speechless I learned so much from her. Never forget that actresses and actors do have a hard time filming traumatic scenes and I think she nailed her role. If you can portray someone so good it’s amazing. She doesn’t play Sansa when she acts she is Sansa and I think it’s beautiful. She is artistically so so so beautiful. Hair like fire. Skin like snow. She is the queen I always wanted.❤️
She's my favorite character off the book & show. One of the few survivors with not a shred of magic in them. She survive merely with instinct. She learned the hard way. She suffered. She played the game.
This is the only video that after watching a thousand times, still gives me goosebumps. So well done. One of my favorites bit is the people saying Sansa's name in the beginning and Sansa seeming not to listen. To me, it shows all the people trying to tell her what to do, trying to use her, or even trying to help (like Tyrion), but they all sound the same to her now and she's disconnected from all the voices calling her now.
This is awesome vid! I have always loved Sansa because she is one of the strongest women on the show. No family to back her, No direwolves, No Dragons, No allies.. just Sansa.. she literally built everything she has with her hands unlike some of the other women on the show.
I actually know what Sansa is going through. I am so much like her, from the beginning to now. I understand her and know what it feels like to not trust the people around you and to have a hard exterior. Sansa is my favorite character because she is strong and has learned a lot about life
I cant understand how can someone hate her? She is strongest and smartest character in game of thrones, she was beaten by joffrey everyday, her father died in front of her, they killed his wolf without reason, they made her watch head of her dead father, she was forced to marry tyrion, she never had someone to trust, she was all alone, then she was forced to marry ramsay, he raped her, hurted her, beated her, every day, she went through in so much pain, every type of pain, human can go through, but she always stayed strong, never backed down, grew up as one of the strongest and smartest character, she really is survivor.
"What do you think he did ? What do you think he did to me ? I can still feel it. I don't mean 'in my tender heart it still pains me so', I can still feel what he did to my body standing here right now." This. Just... These words. So much hurt that describes a horrible truth. Her suffer was psychological during a long time, Ramsay added the physical part.
One of the most impressive and important character developments. An amazing actress who started as a child and turned in to a strong leader for her people, she was the daughter her parents raised.
On some level I relate to the abuse narrative, but I chose to not let it define me. Although she is not my favourite character, I love how beautifully made this video is.
Sansa grew most during game of thrones. People seemed to have not noticed just like the seeds to Danny going nuts was gradually sprinkled into the show. Sansa learned to play the game and grew into a survivor who truly wanted to free the north and take it back. It becomes more obvious when it's rewatched from season one all the way through. She is a true survivor. She played a diffrent game. She wanted the north not the iron throne. She won her game.
people like to think they would fight in such a situation, that they would be brave. I think Sansa is the most realistic character on the show. If we were to be put in a situation like this, we all would shift into survival mode. No heroic actions, just surviving. (even) Sansa shows more braveness and strength than most people would. Best character development!
and now she is Queen of the North. Sansa is the most underrated Stark by far. I’ll aways love her and remember how strong and powerful she was trough all these years.
I love Sansa so much I remember her being one of the most annoying characters to me but after season 8, i’m in love with her. she is so beautiful, brave, strong and overall amazing
I dont understand why so many people hate Sansa. She couldn't fight or breed dragons but neither can most of the women in reality does it deny them the respect they deserve?? She's gone through a lot , her father was murdered right in front of her , she was raped and was manipulated by little finger, she's as strong as any other well respected character in GoT according to me.
I love the development of her from a silly teenager to this strong woman, unfortunately she passed from some really bad stuffes to get there, but I'm really proud of how grow up she became, she learned from the worst how to be one of the best and that is a big thing
It drives me crazy how people still think of her as she was in season 1. She’s changed just like everyone else. She’s badass and brave and inspirational. You can go through trauma that feels like shit, but it’s only fertilizer to help you grow.
It is a realistic, true, human character. In fact, she is perfect and amazingly portrayed by the actress. So yes, she doesn't have dragons or titles as long as Daenerys has huhu. She is more subtle and less "spectacular". But so much interesting for that ;)
I originally came to watch GoT because of Sophie, and fell inlove with the show in the end. Although, without being bias, she was still one of the beat characters in the show. Maybe it's because of how realistic she'd been written and portrayed, but they fact of how much teenagers can relate to all the emotions she faced during the show. All hail the Queen in the North.
Omg this is beautiful. I don't care what anyone says. She is the most grown, I love it. Ever since she made her Winterfell ice castle, she's been strong and when she throws her low key shade its hilarious 😂
I will probably cry, this is the most beautifu and stunning video about Sansa, I love her so much. For me, she is my queen. She has gone through so much.
This makes me cry so hard, every time I see it... So sad and so much suffering... I hope to see another one, now that the series is finished. Thank you for making this.
wow this video is beautiful and powerful, it shows how strong Sansa is becoming i can't wait to see the next coming season. thank you so much for uploading this video !
I love sansa. Love her evolution! One of the best character. I loved her since season 2 when she found out the Lannister were enemies, and tried to acting the way people wanted her to be acting.
Oh, the beginning of the video is just so good, all those people calling her name, at the same time, we got to see her expressions while they call her, passing the idea that she is submissive for her own safety, but she is so strong to be able to do that, and she didn't break, so well built and inspiring, I got admit, I always come back for that video when I'm feeling down and I need to inspire myself in a model similar to me... Thank you so much!
Can I just say how much I love that EVERYONE in the comments are writing that they don’t understand why Sansa is so underrated, apparently she is not, because probably 500 people in this comment section wrote that they love her..
i really really hope, and wish Sansa will sit on the iron throne because she's the one who deserve the most to be queen. She been through so much horrible things. Arya, Daenerys, Jon they never suffered the way she suffered that's why i hope she'll win the Game of thrones
I actually liked her even in the first season. Never understood the hate towards this character. She was such a trol in the king's landing even after she was left alone there with a dad killed in front of her. As Tyrion once said - She may survive us. Yeah, she did outlived a lot of characters.
Women can be subtle, quiet, feminine and graceful and still be the strongest and smartest person in the room. Sansa showed that some people survive the worst of situations just by enduring them and learned the only person she has in this world is herself.
Any & all judgemental shallow-minded fans who just love to hate on Sansa all the frickin' time seriously need to watch this vid as it truly captures the essence of her character and all the struggles & all the tragedies & all the pain & hardships that she's had to endure & overcome ever since she first left Winterfell all the way back in S#1!!! She may not be a badass warrior like Jon & Arya and she may not have magical powers like Bran but Sansa is most definitely exactly what this video describes her: A survivor!!! Sansa has grown & evolved a whole lot thru out the series from being a spoiled pampered aristocratic girl to a deeply traumatized & emotionally-tortured victim to finally a hardened resilient determined & resourceful lady who's hellbent on preventing anyone from ever using her as a pawn ever again, from a shallow girl who never really appreciated everything & everyone she was blessed with until it was all ripped away from her to someone who fought tooth & nail to regain it all and is determined to never lose it ever again!!! Hopefully once the dust settles and both The Night King & Cersei have been permanently dealt with, all the remaining Starks (their adopted brother: Theon included) will still be amongst the living and they call all finally put behind them for good all of the tragedy, chaos, suffering, treachery & heartache that has defined them for so long!!!!!!!
Sansa is my favorite character. She is so loveable. I don't understand why many people hate her. Even though she isn't a fighter physically, she is a fighter mentally and she did everything to survive. ❤❤❤❤ #TeamSansa
It's amazing how Sansa had to go through all this to become a strong character! She had dreams and was dazzled by the innocence of people, like everyone else before seeing the cruelty she has in people. She's my favorite after Arya. And it showed that a gentle and gentle girl can be practically SWAN but never lose its essence! My love all for her!
I love Sansa. No one as hurt the way she was. She grew became strong. Shes the definition of resilience
I love her. I love that Name and the way they say it. Sansa, it's beautiful ❤️
I agree, I loved Sansa since the beginning. And Sophie Turner does an amazing performance portraying all her evolution with only her eyes.
I loved her so much before season 8
Now that she is so mean to danny i cant love her the way i dud before
But this vidro help me to undress why she cant ever never trust a stranger
And danny is a stranger
SHES DUMB
You can never underestimate any Stark children. They've grown, learned, and played the Game of Thrones very well.
They didn't play the game of thrones very well AT ALL.
Yeah, well. And then there is Rickon...
@@maximelover3314 You haven't been paying attention then

It pains me how much she's underrated. This girl suffered so much on an emotionnal level , and yet she has the best character development. She made mistakes, and she lives every days regretting it, and get out stronger. This precious soul deserves more love.

@@nobodyskryptonite8504 Sansa sucks
Everybody please remember that whilst the actor is older, Sansa was only 13 years of age, at the time she watched her dad's head get lopped off.
When you hate on Sansa for being whiny, or for not fighting, or whatever, you're hating on a 13 year old girl whose gone through torture and torment.
Kat Preece in the books she was 11
Sophie Turner (actress of sansa) was actually 14 when they were filming first season.
Garden Rose yes
@@lorrie9462 more like, she's representing the struggle of 'most people' when Jon-Arya-Dany was that 'heroic' from the start.
Garden Rose the Show is a Fantasy and within the context of the show Arya and Jon‘s experiences were just as valid
Love it!
Megan thank you 😊
This is bs,woman being misogynistic towards other woman? that makes sense to you?
In the case if lady, Sansa is at fault
Due to her lying to the king.
Typically, I speak in defence of Sansa, but your inability to see her flaws made me feel obligated to oppose you....maybe If grow to fond of playing Devil's Advocate...
erik diaz that's why the tribute called "survivor".. Shen needs to do what she need to survive even if it cost her love ones life..
erik diaz Also Ned sealed his own fate by trusting the wrong people and blabbing to Cersei about his knowledge of her incest.
Sansa telling Cersei of Ned did very little
People only understand a swordfight, not subtle manipulation......very sad.

👏🏾 True Story 😢
And sansa didn't understand neither
Many do, but a sword fight is just cooler
Sansa is the most underrated and misunderstood character
Don't be silly
Exacly, I like her much and I also think she's very underrated
Careful, you'll trigger the 'KhAlEeSi' warriors
I think she is absolutely brilliant.
and thn thr r also girls like Arya stark, the true warrior, the queen
Well well well.
QUEEN IN THE NORTH!!! ⚔️⚔️⚔️
Why does everybody keep saying Sansa was annoying? She was annoying for S1 and that's it. We are 7 seasons deep now. Stop saying it.
eligirl100 small brain: sansa is annoying
big brain: Sansa is only annoying in S1
Galaxy brain: Sansa was never annoying, she was a naive 11 yr old girl who wanted to become queen so she played the game by lying about remembering
The show is over and SHE IS STILL ANNOYING!!!! Now what?? Nothing? I thought so.

Pffffffhagaga, she was a snake

BrightNeonBrilliancy thanks so much 😄
People hated her because in the beginning she lied to protect herself and was whiny and annoying.
The actress has definitely mastered the look in the eyes of the " haunted, haunting kind". This shows it beautifully.
The underrated, quiet strength of Sansa Stark:
Sansa has endured more unjustified cruelty than all of the Starks combined.
"Lady Stark, you may survive us yet."
-Tyrion Lannister
The reason why so many dislike Sansa is because they see their flaws they hate themselves for reflectied in Sansa. I can see no other good explanation for so many haters..
Yeah exactly!
She is an ordinary girl who did extraordinary things.None with an ordinary eye could appreciate that. She was a simple human being who learned to survive without any superpowers.
Only Dany, Bran and Arya(later) had powers. Literally no one else was inhuman.
“In my experiences girls like her don’t live very long,” well she proved them all wrong didn’t she 😭
I only know one Queen in the North whose name is Stark. Long may she reign!
Though she isn't real, she inspires me and I think of her when I need to be strong.
Sansa is one of the most developed characters in the series. No one cant say she stayed the same naive girl she was at the begining
Never realized that Sansa has delivered so many kick ass replies...
Kep Trefler thank you so much 😊💖
@Kep Trefler, you're so right.
Holy shit. I knew it was bad but watching this...wow. Just, damn. It's a wonder she hasn't gone crazy.

Novita Sijabat thanks for the support ahah, I think that after the season 7 finale I am definitely a fan of Sansa

Thank you :)
Sansa is a perfect example of what doesn’t kill u makes u stronger
One of my most fav character, her character development was everything
I am proud of the strong women she became
Her acting performance are STUNNING I just can’t speak when I watch her I’m speechless I learned so much from her. Never forget that actresses and actors do have a hard time filming traumatic scenes and I think she nailed her role. If you can portray someone so good it’s amazing. She doesn’t play Sansa when she acts she is Sansa and I think it’s beautiful. She is artistically so so so beautiful. Hair like fire. Skin like snow. She is the queen I always wanted.❤️
I think sansa has had the best character development in game of thrones. I went from hating her in the first season to her being one of my favourites!
She instilled identity in Theon and Jon. That was great strength. Good video.
anna george thank you 😊
She's my favorite character off the book & show.
"I don.t think you know many girls like her" Thank you, Sansa is a survivor who gets through the worst problems
Sophie Turner is just brilliant! i love Sansa because of her amazing acting
This is awesome vid! I have always loved Sansa because she is one of the strongest women on the show. No family to back her, No direwolves, No Dragons, No allies.. just Sansa.. she literally built everything she has with her hands unlike some of the other women on the show.
THE QUEEN IN THE NORTH
The best character evolution in the show has to be hands down Sansa Stark! I mean look what you made her do.
"What do you think he did ? What do you think he did to me ? I can still feel it. I don't mean 'in my tender heart it still pains me so', I can still feel what he did to my body standing here right now."
This. Just... These words. So much hurt that describes a horrible truth. Her suffer was psychological during a long time, Ramsay added the physical part.
and then she became the Queen of the North!
The most well developed character in Game of Thrones! Just love her!
and now she is Queen of the North. Sansa is the most underrated Stark by far. I’ll aways love her and remember how strong and powerful she was trough all these years.
I love Sansa so much
I remember her being one of the most annoying characters to me
but after season 8, i’m in love with her. she is so beautiful, brave, strong and overall amazing
Such a perfect tribute to the best character on Game of Thrones
Angela Barry-Florio thank you 😊
I dont understand why so many people hate Sansa.
She couldn't fight or breed dragons but neither can most of the women in reality does it deny them the respect they deserve??
She's gone through a lot , her father was murdered right in front of her , she was raped and was manipulated by little finger,
she's as strong as any other well respected character in GoT according to me.
It's sad to see that she started off smiling in the earlier series and after season 2 you never see her smile again
wow I can't wait for Sansa and Tyrion to see each other again!
She is so strong!
Omg this is beautiful. I don't care what anyone says. She is the most grown, I love it. Ever since she made her Winterfell ice castle, she's been strong and when she throws her low key shade its hilarious 😂
Every time I see a moment when Sansa defends lady, saying she's good, her voice breaks something inside of me
sansa's character development still amazes me
What a fantastic character. I'm so glad they didn't ruin her - her ending was pretty much the one thing I loved from the finale.
My favourite character. She is just so strong and realistic. I hope her story ends happily💕
I will probably cry, this is the most beautifu and stunning video about Sansa, I love her so much. For me, she is my queen. She has gone through so much.
Ann20RIK thanks so much 😊
Sansa is in my Top 3 of favorite characters! She went through so much and she only grew stronger from it. I bloody love her! ❤️
One of the best character developments ❤❤❤❤
I love Sansa, I know she's lots of people's least favorite characters but I think she's so brave and resilient
This makes me cry so hard, every time I see it... So sad and so much suffering...
I hope to see another one, now that the series is finished.
Thank you for making this.
You did what you had to do to survive my lady. You played the game very well and you won!
wow this video is beautiful and powerful, it shows how strong Sansa is becoming i can't wait to see the next coming season. thank you so much for uploading this video !
Mwuah191 thank you 😄
I love sansa.
Daniel Gomes thank you 😊
Chills...From bystander to ruler. The Queen of the North.
Mark my words : She is going to be queen.
Sansa stark/ Sophie turner is my absolute favorite character. she's the strongest and best person.
Love this Tribute!
Btw "stark" means "strong" in German and therefore I think the name fits her
maggithepink thank you 😊 I didn't know that
Tap101Dancer Stark means strongly, not strong
@@isabellanavarra it can also be translated into strong but yes your right it mainly means strongly
@@isabellanavarra it is the same word in German - we have no seen difference between adjectives and adverbs.
I'ts pronounced completely differently. It's a name.
Sansa is my favorite character. She is so loveable. I don't understand why many people hate her. Even though she isn't a fighter physically, she is a fighter mentally and she did everything to survive. ❤❤❤❤ #TeamSansa
This video is amazing, and it descibes perfectly how strong Sansa is. Thank you for this masterpiece !
Eva Phantomhive thanks so much 😊
It's amazing how Sansa had to go through all this to become a strong character! She had dreams and was dazzled by the innocence of people, like everyone else before seeing the cruelty she has in people. She's my favorite after Arya. And it showed that a gentle and gentle girl can be practically SWAN but never lose its essence! My love all for her!
