How to unblock a thick blockage in a manhole ,,, poke the poo 💩💩👍

This is just me clearing a blocked manhole. In this scenario you have to be careful due to how thick the blockage is as most of the water has got through the blockage into the drain leaving all the solids to back up.
The best way to clear this is to poke a hole in the outlet and gradually hose down the edges carefully sending small amounts down the drain as there is a good chance it will block up further down if you send too much thick stuff down. Many people will try using a plunger but obviously common sense tells you that if you use a plunger the same size of the drain all you will achieve is sending a big clump of poo into the drain and it will make your job harder. I have a jetting machine so the pressure is a lot more than a hose pipe so it didn't take too long to clear this blockage. You will be able to clear a manhole like this with a hose pipe but it will just take longer. Just be patient and send little bits down at a time. Thanks for watching 👍
