I know this is a long shot, but can you please help with text notifications not showing up? All other alerts show up, but not my texts. I’ve re-paired and reset the watch several times with no success.
Hi mate thanks for the review. can you please confirm if it is possible to use the watch without connecting to a smartphone? When you say set the settings via smartphone app, is there an option to do this without one? Thanks very much mate
Yes! You can do it but it's more time consuming. For example, you can set the time, alarms, etc. but the smartphone gives you way more convenience. Plus, Bluetooth connection ensures the accuracy. Without the constant time calibration the watch may gain or lose seconds. At the same time I hardly ever use the workout/fitness features but when it comes to accuracy to me it's a must.
Which features exactly are you referring about? I'm not using just the fitness features right now because I take a break from training. But let me tell you this: I've been bodybuilding for 30 years my friend and back in the days I did just fine without hi tech gadgets, lol.. if you think a watch will make all the difference you're mistaken(other aspects like nutrition, training plan and recovery come to play but that's another topic) If you're referring about barometer and altimeter in general, the values are rarely accurate and cannot compare with other devices especially designed for that. Unfortunately, you can't customize the watch. It comes like that. The point is that the price-value ratio is very affordable. Nevertheless, it's a great every day beater. I'm totally satisfied and enjoying it
Thanks for contacting me! I haven't performed a manual time adjustment but if you do so, it gives you the option to adjust only the hour and the minutes, not the seconds as it seems. I've never bothered about the seconds since my watch is Bluetooth linked to my phone and that's how I rely on accuracy.
@@unbiasedreviews5978 ok I've downloaded the g shock move app but for some reason it tells me that my email address has forbidden characters or something. Nothing is wrong with my email address so im confused. I want to set the time using my phone like you have.
@@irishnz_9558 Casio app can be pain the butt, I know. I, personally had a hard time getting it to work. Sometimes, it tells me that my ID is not the one on file. Try with another email address
Hi! I've never used that feature or more precisely to say I never cared. I just let it go without paying much attention how many steps I've made. Why do you need to reset the steps?! This way you'll have something to compare with. But I would open the app and go within settings of the personalized plan or activity. There you will have the chance to see results, set goals, etc. To me the most important aspect of the watch is convenience. Accuracy and notification are really useful. This along with 200 M of WR and the toughness of G-Shock technology makes this watch superior to many others.

I'd read the instructions carefully and if everything you do is right I'll contact Casio for assistance.

If don’t use any of the features just don’t buy it but for me is very useful.

Hello can u plz tell me can I play pause song form watch
Hi, I'm afraid the watch doesn't offer such a feature
Does the Bluetooth and screen goes off when the watch is being idle for long time ?
I hardly ever take it off of my wrist. But you can program the watch when to go to sleep.
Can you set the seconds on the watch? I can set the hours and minutes but not seconds!
