When i was a kid some random drunk dude taught me and my brother how to throw boomerangs in the parking lot of a church. This video instantly reminded me of the good old days!
TotalMetalJacket sure you can, but it's about having consistent form and getting consistent groups. Ive been coaching for 2 years and competing for 5. It doesnt matter if you can do it if your form is bad
Man going to school ruined all of my will to lean, watching your video and your enthuasium and patience you are really encouraging me to go out there and learn myself a new skill. Good job man keep it up👍👍. Ps I suggest you learning butterfly knife tricks next or pen spinning would been so cool.
You should learn to do two of the things you've done before, at the same time - throw a boomerang while doing a wheelie, spin a basketball on a backwards bike :D
Dude this guy is an inspiration, he does anything he puts his mind to and doesn’t stop till he gets it right. Not many people have the patience for that
I get so happy every time I see/ hear Kim congratulating you or jumping excitably into the frame! It's so awesome that you found someone so relentlessly supportive and made her your wife! I totally didn't cry at your proposal video...
Hey Mike! I've been with you since your very first video and I have to say, as someone whose not well-versed in achieving their goals, these videos are very inspiring. The fact that you don't look up any guides and are able to achieve your desired goal through sheer determination is amazing. Not only that, but you can tell that your video quality has increased dramatically. The Eye Tracker on the Boomerang, the Overhead Shots with the Drone, and the Body Shots all add noticeable quality to your videos. Keep inspiring my friend! My Challenge to you: Learn to do a Standing Backflip. Once you have that accomplished, Learn to do a Cartwheel-Back-Handspring. Or vice versa, whichever you think will build up to the other.
thank for for following this channel for so long. That's great! I've put a little work into production and I'm glad people appreciate it. Thanks for watching and sticking around :)
I did this when I was 13 at a picnic with my Tae Kwon Do dojang. It was a full-on eucalyptus boomerang. On my second throw, I was being yelled at not to catch it. I did. I broke a finger and chipped another. Rushed to hospital, missed out on Master Park's Korean barbecue and couldn't go back to practice for 2 weeks, because my hand throbbed every time I tried a punch. Then came the lecture about impulsive thinking from my master, and a sarcastic ovation when I walked into class. I haven't even tried to throw one in over 20 years now. Mine was a poorly executed fluke. Yours was skill. Good on you, man.
One of my favorite things about your videos is seeing your missus cheering you on and getting genuinely excited when you succeed. If I asked my missus to come to the park with me and watch me learn to throw a boomerang... it would take her weeks to stop laughing.
i stopped playing video games and starting watching your videos and learn nice things. i know now how do : Spin a book on one finger, do a thail whip whit a scooter! thank you!!
That is a training boomerang that indigenous Australians used for young boys, the proper ones were designed so they can't return since it would put the thrower in danger. The young boys would have their's shaped like that so they would learn to throw long distances without having to re collect it.
I mean, if that's what you prefer. But this still takes some practice so it's not like you can completely avoid it, therefore a tutorial isn't really going to speed up the learning process that much, so you're not "cheating" or anything. I think that with something as simple as boomerang throwing, it's more interesting figuring out all the angles and directions yourself, but I can see how it can be a daunting thing.
Fair enough, lol. Love your videos! Would love to see something a bit more challenging though. Maybe a 'Learn Quick' where you learn to walk on your hands. Set challenge complete at either a distance or a time limit. Bonus points if it is up or down a set of stairs ;)
That's actually impossible since the wind is unpredictable and the fact that its making a curved shape, not a teardrop shape so it's also impossible for it to come back to you in the same place you're standing. You have to move a little bit to the left or rightl

How about learning how to use a bow and arrows? You could have a target and your goal could be to get a solid shot from a distance!

I Tuny he could do it by getting a x inch group at x number of meters
Thats something that takes months to be good at with good form at 5 meters, it takes years to "master"
Natalie Tietz Not really. You can learn to shoot a decent group in a couple hours at around 25 feet.
