Definitely my new favourite channel! I remember this car in it's first iteration, pretty sure I have the magazine somewhere still!

Awesome build. I'd be tempted to add a cross braces between the pairs of support brackets, at least at mid point, to prevent them spreading apart or collapsing together under high loads. I'm sure they're fine as they are, more than fine, but if you visualise what would give first, you can imagine the support brackets bending.

That is absolutely awesome Dave! Also the lyric at 3:29 "...back in high school rock the polo..."

For someone who isn't an engineer, there is some serious engineering going on here. I love it.
Already looking forward to the next installment

Wondering if it’s possible to do something similar on the front of a T4 to replace the torsion bar system… I was thinking that the torsion bar could be replaced with a substantial tube that connected to a linkage system like you’ve done here.

any suggestions for us 'non-engineer types' that need help with the angles and lengths of travel on the rocker piece? how do you know how much travel you need? anyone know of any good resources out there to learn more?

David , did you not consider just flipping the shock the other way over , to resolve your clearance issue ...

I did consider that but the other end of the shock is a lot wider and wouldn’t work with the rocker arm.

How'd you end up doing the math for 300lb springs? Or did you just guess that half would be good?

Like your project, but the music is distracting and annoying. You don't need it.
