I had an unbelievable opportunity to get to know Mitch a few years ago through a work relationship. He's an amazing guy. Very kind, has a great family, extremely humble, and unassuming. If you didn't know he was the head coach of the Spurs, you would never guess it. Take it from a random guy on the internet. There is no better person to take over the Spurs. Obviously, I hope Pop can come back and be Pop, but Mitch is deserving, and I hope he gets the chance at the helm once Pop decides to retire. GSG
I wrote this somewhere else, but Mitch jumping into to call timeout and then humbly denying it in his postgame interview is the most money and spurs-y thing I’ve seen in awhile. Popovich, at this point, couldn’t have done it better. That split-second decision to call timeout saved SA the possession and possibly the game. Mitch has demonstrated that he not only is a great coach, but that he’s fiercely competitive and aware of time and game. That being said, of course I still want pop back soon. But Mitch has been great
Wemby's rookie cards just doubled overnight-The 7-foot-3 Frenchman overwhelmed the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night, totaling 42 points (13-of-24 shooting), six rebounds, five assists, four blocks, two steals and seven made 3-pointers. No other player has ever tallied those numbers, per StatMuse.
Hes done a great job
facts
The future of the spurs is bright

Mitch is doing a fantastic job.
Let this guy be pop's successor 👍🏾
Spurs look much much better. San Antonio had several years of stinky basketball, but it's incredible to see a solid leap in competitive spirit.

What did he deny exactly?

He doesn’t pretend to be what he is not!
I like it!
Winning cures all and the team has looked good
He even sounds like Pop a little bit in his tone !😂 doing awesome though
Pop changed Sochan’s FTs in a before game session.this is unusual?
Pop can stay home. I lost respect for that sellout
You can find another team then. Too many fickle ass ungrateful Spurs fans as is.
And you can go to hell and stay there 😅
Stick to Fortnite Kid.
Agreed!!
Pop…a sellout? He created the Spurs winning culture.
And... Mitch is a kind man...
