Are there any museums to visit? And do those famous brands continue to make watches in Switzerland? This is probably going to be my 100th site so I want to do it right when I go :D
Yep, from memory I think both towns have a watch-making museum, though they're more focused on the art and history of watch-making rather than the World Heritage Site (which is more about how watch-making fed into town planning and vice-versa). I think at least Tissot and Montblanc are still in Le Locle, but I'm not sure whether they're open to the public. Maybe double-check their Google Maps listings! Good luck, and enjoy your 100th site, that's a great milestone 👍
It's easiest to take the train from Berne, it's about an hour's ride and the train leaves hourly. You can drive as well, but Swiss trains work very well. Thanks for watching 👍
This iconic town is a paradise for watch enthusiasts.. Would love visit someday.
There's definitely some great sights, and it's a beautiful part of Switzerland as well. Highly recommended 👍
