Haha. (also it's weird, may delay sa movement : yung sumusunod sa lumalayo ay malapit, yung lumalayo sa sumusunod ay malayo, you're all confused of who's chasing and who's not.)
Here's the mechanics :
Crewmate : Find out who's an/the Impostor(s) and kick them out or fill the gauge by doing tasks (every crewmate must have all of their tasks done to win.)
Impostor : Kill everyone but don't get caught.
-There could be one or more impostors (must have a plenty of players)
Rules :
No chatting if the game started, only if there is an emergency meeting.
You can't talk if you're a ghost, since you already knew an/the Impostor.
As a ghost, you can only do tasks and you can't help them fix the sabotage. (and explore the map freely)
The Impostor can actually fix the sabotage he/she made to blend in.
Crewmates cannot hide in vents, Impostor(s) only.
As a Crewmate :
- Complete tasks to fill guage.
- Survive against the/an Impostor(s)
- You can do task if you're alive or dead (ghost)
- Report dead bodies if you see one
- Have a meeting if you have suspicions on a player or if you saw the/an Impostor do something.
- Prevent the Sabotage made by an Impostor (Reactor Meltdown or Oxygen) (every crewmates failing to fix it after a certain amount of time will be killed, getting the/an Impostor(s) a/the victory.)
- Fix the lights or the communications if it is sabotaged by an/the Impostor.
-Kick the impostor if you know who (depends on votes of the players)
As an Impostor :
- Kill everyone
- Don't get caught
- Report a crewmate you killed (pretending you are not an/the Impostor) (timing is crucial)
- You can Sabotage Oxygen, Reactor, Communications, or the Lights (so no one can see) (only one at a time)
- Pretend you do tasks, you have fake tasks (acting like a normal crewmate but you can't do tasks)
- Hide in vents so no one can see you, you can also travel through rooms in the vents (hide wisely or they will notice it)
- Shut doors so crewmates can be trapped (for a certain amount of time)
- Prove your innocence or accuse innocent crewmates and kick them instead (be careful when you do this)
If you're a Crewmate :
If you're playing in The Skeld, you can check the security cameras (four screens) in the Security or check the map in the Admin to discover suspicious actions from the players.
If you're playing in Mira HQ, you can check the doorlog in the Communications (track players what door they passed through) or check the map in the Admin to discover suspicious actions from the players.
If you're playing in Polus, you can check the security cameras (full screen/changeable) in the Security or check the map in the Admin to discover suspicious actions from the players.
Impostors can check those too.
Use them to your advantage and you might discover who is an/the Impostor.
(Every map is unique, with different tasks and unique mechanics on how to do it. So memorize the map, and its unique mechanics.)
You can also change speed of the players, amount of Impostors, their kill range and cooldown, visions of the crewmates and impostors,
amount of emergency meetings, vote time, discussion time, how many common, short, and long tasks. (in the lobby (dropship), or the create game menu)

In this game , there is a sabotage button that can be used by the impostors to turn off the lights , turn off the oxygen and reactor and also close doors 👌

So imma go spit some facts about the game:
-Only the impostor can use vents so if you someone using it yeet that guy out
-ID swipe task on the admin or office room will be available for everyone, if your a crewmate and it's not available in your task tab then the guy that will do it is an impostor
-The medbay scan task can only be done by the real crewmates if someone stands on the scanning pad but no hologram thingy appears then that guys is an impostor
-The same thing applies for both the garbage disposal task and the Weapons task. If some tries to do the task and either no garbage goes out of the ship or if the guns doesn't fire then the guys was faking it

You can also tell if someone is faking task when the person leaves at his/her position and the bar(upper left) didnt increase
also in shields, if the thing on the bottom right doesnt light up the person is faking it

Here's a tip(mostly applicable for the Skeld map): Crewmates can use 'special' tasks-- the Asteroid Blaster, Shields, Trash, and MedBay Scan-- to find who really is doing their tasks. Unlike other tasks like wiring, file upload/download, etc. , the first four tasks that I mentioned earlier have their own unique visisble-from-outside animations(like the medbay scan that has an actual scan animation when someone used them) when someone is doing those tasks, which means crewmates can figure out who is being sus just by looking at people doing those tasks. impostors cannot interact with tasks/devices(except security tasks and tasks that they can sabotage like reactors and lights) that's why impostors can only simulate tasks, in other words they can only fake those tasks by standing still. But the four aformentioned 'special' tasks cannot be faked by impostors because like I said earlier, those tasks have animations when they are being done so standing still will be super suspicious.
There are many instances that can make an impact on a round just by this single mechanic:
For Crewmates:
-They can use these tasks to prove their innocence, like talking people to follow them and be spectators while they do those four tasks.
-They can monitor people that are doing those four tasks to see if there'll be animations.
-They can force suspicious people to do those tasks to figure out if they really are the killers or not
For impostors:
-Tbh, the best they can do are just downright avoid these tasks when there are people nearby or act as spectators. But there are still ways to utilize this mechanic, like faking one of those special four tasks by going to a route that leads to those tasks while there are people nearby(preferrably at the cafeteria), and then continue walking through the route until you're at one of the four tasks' location. Fake them while making sure that there are no people nearby and then come to other routes that are connected to your current location, go to the tasks along the way, then simulate them. Continue walking and simulating until you find someone. When a meeting was called, you can just say that you went and did those four tasks. This is an effective strat: people will believe you that you did them because when all of you are at the cafeteria you went to a route of one of those tasks, you met some people when you are simulating other tasks at the connecting routes, and those people that saw you will vouch for you because what u're saying matches with the time when they saw you. Simulating tasks as close to the real one as possible will greatly enhance the effectiveness of thise strat, because time is key in this strat.
There are other strats that impostors can use that involves those special tasks. Just use ur big brains and outplay them innocent btches.
(If there's something wrong or some things to add, feel free to comment them so I can edit this comment. I actually do/did not play the game myself, I'm just watching tons of streamers playing this, I'm mostly watching otv and friends.)

@@rouan412 really? I'm watching streamers playing among us at twitch almost everyday and at all of those streams, impostors have only been given a fake task list for them to simulate. They can interact with cameras or fix sabotages to blend in but they cannot do actual tasks like fixing wirings and stuff. I think that is an old mechanic because the version that streamers at twitch are playing are the updated ones.

This game seems similar to Running man, a longest korean variety show.....they also have to find who is the culprit amongst all of them and eliminate the culprit immediately using the hints collected
around the location.....y'all should watch the show.It's more interesting, lots of plot twist and mind blowing because of their great betrayal, cunning , and slyness skills. Added to that, the main cast have great humour for giving a suspecions to each other.

They can use this, but if the impostors have remaining brain cells in their head they will just sabotage the reactor/oxygen, or sabotage the lights to deprive the crewmates' sight so they will all inevitably scatter and then it will be a chance for a solo or even a double kill(not to mention the difficulty of sticking together consistently while their sight is reduced to their feet)(also, sticking together while the lights are out is not a good move because impostors can easily do a stack kill)

In order to knew if the guy is a crewmate there two things to do
The first one is on the MedBay the scan part thingy if a crewmate can scan on that thing it instantly means their innocent
The second one is the weopons when a crewmate can do weopons the gun thingy outside the ship can be seen as shooting that means the guy who did that task is true innocent
Ps:if you have the weopons and MedBay task make sure people will see you so they can know that you are innocent, the weopons method can be only used in The Skeld and Polus map while medbay is in everymap
