  • Here are the team of Pokémon in this video, which was decided by the random number generator.
P1 Team: Shellder, Mantine, Forretress, Scizor, Porygon, Slowbro
CPU Team: Blissey, Articuno, Miltank, Snorlax, Girafarig, Skiploom
Then, I will list the moves for each Pokémon in battle, starting with my team.
Shellder: Surf, Ice Beam, Swift, Supersonic
Mantine: Wing Attack, Waterfall, Take Down, Supersonic
    Forretress: Strength, Rollout, Sandstorm, Spikes
Scizor: Metal Claw, Cut, Agility, Leer
Porygon: Tri Attack, Blizzard, Sharpen, Conversion 2
    Slowbro: Surf, Confusion, Disable, Growl
The CPU's team of Pokémon and moves.
Blissey: Egg Bomb, Thunder, Defense Curl, Flash
    Articuno: Blizzard, Peck, Agility, Mist
Miltank: Stomp, Ice Punch, Heal Bell, Bide
Snorlax: Headbutt, Fire Punch, Defense Curl, Curse
    Girafarig: Psybeam, Stomp, Crunch, Agility
Skiploom: SolarBeam, Headbutt, Synthesis, Sunny Day
That is a lot of Normal-types on the CPU side, while I have three Water-types and two Bug/Steel-type Pokémon. I had Scizor as the lead Pokémon while the CPU has Skiploom, and I decided this was the right time to bring out Forretress and set up Spikes and use Rollout, because if I use Sandstorm, Skiploom can set up the sun.
The downside to the two Bug/Steel-type Pokémon is that Snorlax knows Fire Punch, but if I can keep the Rollout going with Forretress, and if Snorlax comes out during then, I can get in some massive damage onto it even if Forretress does go down to Snorlax's Fire Punch.
Rollout can even beat Articuno, but I am not sure what I would do if Articuno came out and I didn't have the Rollout going, my best show would be to send in Scizor and use Leer and Agility, and maybe get in some hits off with Metal Claw, but the main Pokémon that I will want Scizor for is Miltank, if I can get an Agility off, then follow up with Leer, then Scizor should be able to beat Miltank.
The harder foes are the Normal-types with massive HP and Special Defense, the first one is Blissey, while I have Scizor as the main physical attacker, I have Porygon for that one as it can use Sharpen to boost its Attack and get in some hits with Tri Attack, and Snorlax is going to be even harder to bring down as it is more defensive than Blissey, but has less HP. For that, depending on what I have left, Scizor can deal some damage with Metal Claw before going down to Fire Punch, and I do have Shellder's Supersonic to try and confuse it, and Slowbro which has Growl to lower Snorlax's Attack and keep attacking with Surf till it is down. Then for Girafarig, this one can be a tough opponent, and while I can use Mantine to take its Psybeam using its high Special Defense stat, I have to watch out for Stomp, it's based on who I have remaining and when Girafarig comes out into the battle, Forretress does resist Girafarig's attacks, and the strategy if I have those two is to use Sandstorm and deal some hits with Strength.
