  • For the last three weeks, we’ve seen inspiring images from Isaiah, Jesus, and Jeremiah about the Divine vision of a more compassionate, loving, and just society. It’s not about paving streets with cobblestones, it’s about rebuilding the spirit of humanity. It’s not about building a temple, its about renovation the soul of society. It’s not about just picking up the broken pieces, it’s about seeing how they can fit together to make something new and beautiful. With the death of Queen Elizabeth the second, this week we wonder about crowning achievements - what would you consider yours to be in your life, in our wider community and indeed in the world? I wonder - what would the Spirit consider the crowning achievement of humanity? The writer of Deuteronomy has a vision of that, as did Jesus…a world where there may always be the poor and the homeless, but where there is no lake of compassion and care. How can we participate in that vision both as individuals and as a community of faith? Join us as we wonder together!
