I wrote this song at the beginning of 2019 but finally put together all of the pieces here at the beginning of 2025.

I sit in the quiet,
no echoes to fill this space,
The air feels heavy,
Not the same as your embrace.
I trace the outline of moments
I can not un-see,
Yet somehow, I’m finding my way,
What it really means,
For this heart to be free.
