- Been streaming and playing SO much Tekken 8 Bryan lately. I was super happy when I was actually able to get the #1 rank with Bryan on the leaderboard!

He's more difficult in this game to me too, cause the 1+2 and df2,1 strings have swybk transitions and I sometimes accidentally input it cause I immediately hold back to block and sway instead. Also, his game is still too similar to 7 while a whole bunch of the cast makes you play 8, while bryan - you'll more likely end up playing 7 lol. The input changes of the 1+2 grabs also make it more likely to misinput the db1+2 ender if you cancel from b3~f.
He's strong tho, and still enjoyable - snake eyes is such a sneaky mechanic, most people (prolly all) don't even consider you have snake eyes and you'll catch them unaware with the 3+4, 2

after he hits his b1, he dashed and taunt cancelled. after he cancelled his taunt, he quickly inputted b,d/f+4 and you can cancel this move by pressing b which results in bryan spinning

Been trying out bryan for a bit and im a yoshimitsu main, pretty fitting for.me conaidering the rivalry between them 😂 but i love his punishing moves like his down+2, 3. (I dont speak tekken since 8 is my first fighting game that im sctully trying to learn)

the moment you complimented him on his side step into electric launch he immediately drops his combo then whiffs a laggy move for no obvious reason loll.
(Maybe he buffered it as part of the combo but it seemed a bit late lol).

Ill never understand high level tekken. If I danced around in my opponents face like that id be mixed up 47 different ways.
Most of the time the pros don’t have to learn the hard way that if they whiff or throw something generally negative on block that they will receive the optimal punish from a similar level opponent. So most of the time they dance with movement to bait an equally suboptimal move to punish while also using said movement to fake high low and mid mixups.
I’m ngl it frustrates me too but playing online where most people mash, it doesn’t give you the opportunity to experience this often.
You usually get to basically practice what pros have drilled into them which is reactive punishes that are basically automatic

Your vids inspired me to main bryan. I played like high execution characters in tekken 7 like armor king and the mishimas but bryan is on a while new level. Im still a scrub on bryan 😢 im doin all these frame traps on blue rank players and they keep disrespecting my frames or i randomly drop my combos do you have any tips for perfecting my execution and frame traps?

Can i ask? what is your computer spec? I can't play this game more than 15 minute It crash every time.
Maybe obvious, but have you updated your gpu drivers? Both amd and nvidia had driver updates specific to tekken around it's release.
