  • Fibromyalgia is being diagnosed at alarming rates in the United States. In this lesson, Anne discusses some the reasons that so many of us are struggling with fibromyalgia, and how the discovery of those root causes can lead to relief from the symptoms of fibromyalgia.
What the medical community fails to understand is the deep connection between our emotions and the pain we experience in the physical body. It is imperative that we begin to identify the core beliefs that are causing our current physical condition in order to heal ourselves on a holistic level.
In this ground breaking ecourse, Anne Novak dives deeply into the underlying causes of acute and chronic pain, guiding us through a body/mind/spirit approach to well-being. Packed with scientific research in the field of neuroscience, along with Kundalini Yoga practices that you can use to move into a state of ease, this course will change the way you look at pain forever.

FINALLY! Yours is the only video that addresses the root causes. Everyone else just talks about symptoms and management of them. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air. The other “experts” are mostly allopathic practitioners who don’t benefit financially from people empowering and healing themselves, so self-treatment by patients wouldn’t be in their best interest.
I know that your approach works because I’ve applied it to my own life and healed myself of a lot of things. I hope that your truth resonates with others to free themselves from chronic pain.

You are so brilliant, thank you so so so much. I am so happy to begin hearing that there are others who believe that our manifested physical pain begins or at least is perpetuated and compounds thusly beginning again)) with mental formation, mental belief. Thank you.

I’m pretty sure she’s talking about the spiritual root cause, of a very real biological disease...(correct me if I am wrong) under certain philosophies all disease has a spiritual/emotional/psychological root.. these are deep ancient multi layered philosophies and beliefs ... different ways of seeing the world... it’s the medical community that picks and chooses its philosophies to fit their convenience and reduces the patient to a lab specimen, devoid of an emotional/psychological/spiritual existence... of course, unless it suits there convenience

Well it could be subconscious, but at same time, it's not in the head. It's real. Could be neurological too where pain signals go haywire. Could be combo of alot of things.

Of course the pain is 100% real. That's noy what this is about though. Read 'Healing Back Pain' by Dr. John Sarno.

Thank you Anne. That's me in a nutshell - scared to be myself. I'm learning some important tools so that I can feel safe enough to emerge. HeartMath's heart coherence technique is amazing by taking conscious breaths through the heart while feeling grateful for something. I thought I had an open heart but it wasn't open to the inside, to my spirit, which has been calling to me to come home. Meditation is great too.

Just to point out mental trauma is A cause not THE cause. Fibromyalgia is caused by metabolically, mentally, and structurally. Is is a where systems of the body break down and you get stuck in vicious multi factorial cycle. What she says does have validity. Maybe she could’ve changed the title, but regardless what she’s saying is true. Treat your body as a whole

Absolutely metabolical! "Insulin Resistance" is the biggest root cause. 2 studies showed this; #1 said 100% had elevated HOMA-IR. #2 said 79% had higher A1C.
This means for many years before fibro set in, fibro people were indulging in processed carbs & sweeteners, but also negligent with an appropriate exercise level.

Anne, as someone diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and CFS 32 years ago I have found, Kundalini Yoga combined with highly absorb able Iron and magnesium glycinate essential in healing. There's evidence showing a combination of factors leads to these pain conditions, which can be so debilitating. Personally, I chose, to become a KYT and study nutrition and found a traditional organic diet rich in iron and magnesium optimal and supplement. Additionally, hormonal disruptions can exacerbate the pain ( maybe why there is a higher rate of fibro in women?), so nourishing infusions and meditation are so helpful for me. I appreciate your angle on seeing the cause of Fibro and exploring it, but perhaps many of us had physical trauma(s), which incited the perfect storm for this disease? Sat nam! Jai Inder Kaur

So I am lost and in so much agony and ashamed. I think it's a magnitude of multiple disorders including vitamin and metabolic disorders . Perhaps heart issues . Perhaps the bone matrix is nit able to absorb the correct minerals. Perhaps a parasite or thyroid issies which doesn't register on the blood tests. Many things . Either way I am exhausted and now I feel embarrassed saying this after you have fort for a life time . I love life and people . I am not so strong . Thank you for taking the time to write this and I hope we find leave outside of this tormented this agonising pain and shame and I hope mostly it doesn't make me hateful . It's beating me so bad . Have you sought assistance from the health care system? It's very important to feel support - Women's Center's or a Support group for chronic pain may be helpful. I left KT and now weight lift and stretch daily , take leg amounts of high quality magnesium and protein and feel great. It took time, but I feel anyone can manage disease with support and help from professionals. Get all the help you deserve!

Thank you! What you have analyzed is true! Please can you share more about how to emerge besides yoga? To survive this world for necessities and having to live with fibromyalgia makes one even more vulnerable to oppressions coming from the world. How exactly to experience freedom from pain and risks of further abuse? I tiptoed my life across 3 continents and having to adapt to others’ will forced upon me- or I would not have survived, eventually my body gave into this painful condition. It is not so simple as to just choose what One wants. Unless one has sufficient economic means, one’s health seems to be at odds with what the demand of this exploitative world.

The cause of FM depends on who's defining it. Speak to a psychologist and its cause is psychological. Speak to a Rheumatologist and they don't know but have medicines. Speak to a yoga person and its spiritual/emotional.
I believe it is a term for symptoms, like a head ache which tells you nothing about the cause.
It's a creation of pharmaceutical companies. Who group a range of ordinary but ambiguous symptoms, give it a name so they can provide ''treatment'' or rather drugs you take for life. Much like depression/anxiety etc. Medicalise things that happen.
Most childhoods had difficult aspects yet not everyone gets FM. Perfectionism is a subjective trait, and not all perfectionists get FM. So it goes.
For genuine treatment we need to get down to basics. It's not fancy its just rational. So, things like deficiency's is important. Our nervous system is affected by b vitamins. They are the building blocks of life. Then look at lifestyle what is helping and hurting. A systematic review of your condition will help reduce symptoms even if you are not cured.
Good luck to all people who suffer with FM. Don't let big pharma con you any more.

@@yoya4766 absolutely. In the past TH-cam deleted when I put the links, but you can search the articles by title.
#1 "Insulin Resistance is Associated with Central Pain in Patients with Fibromyalgia" (100% fibro patients had insulin resistance in this study, and 79% in a source they cited)
#2 "Is insulin resistance the cause of fibromyalgia? A preliminary report"
(This study found fibro to have overall higher A1C & glucose intolerance. They had a huge reduction in pain with a diabetes drug, but obviously that's not your solution to fix prediabetes.)
#3 "Coexistence of fibromyalgia and metabolic syndrome in females: The effects on fatigue, clinical features, pain sensitivity, urinary cortisol and norepinephrine levels: A cross-sectional study"
(This one shows those with fibro were 3.76x more likely to have Metabolic syndrome- AKA too much insulin resistance from lifestyle choices. BMI also higher. Their pain severity also increased the more they let their weight & insulin resistance get worse)
*SOLUTION for insulin resistance*: slash the processed carb intake-pasta , cereal, crackers, bread, pancakes, rolls, etc- & your juices/beverages, desserts. #2 you GOTTA exercise more. Strength train with body weight or resistance bands. Also, Take 10min walks after your meals whenever able.

What she is saying has alot of merit but has NOTHING to do with the cause of Fibromyalgia pain or depression it causes The CAUSE of fibromyalgia is neurological...it's about prolonged stress and depletion of important nutrients.
I do not have fibromyalgia but I've read ALOT and it is real, it's physical, not just psychological. It tends to happen after a shock, an accident causing PTSD, after chronic infection (Epstein Barr virus,, Hep B, C virus, and repeated influenza viruses. The body being on alert for too long, an immune system always dealing with chronic diseases. Any prolonged stress or stressful job...in other words the body is overwhelmed and depleted; this causes extreme tiredness and fibromyalgia. I have many ideas for natural protocols to help and eliminate but without someone directly asking, I don't want to make suggestions; nor do I want arguments, rebuttals. It's only my opinion and I'm not selling anything.
My first thought would be detoxification - water/lemon for liver and bowel cleanse, very good probiotics and digestive enzymes.

It is like my soul is saying “ it hurts to exist” I cannot exist in this body and I cannot express thy kingdom fully. Being opened energetically after multiple kundalini awakening makes being physical challenging. Do you have any insights recommendations to help anchor the soul in the body? Thank you from our ONE Heart 💖 Love Grace and Blessings to All 🌹

Yes, i am all this. I for gave my parents, but the same energy from their professional ways has changed into doctors, social security case pending, pills. Situation changes, but the energy is the same.
Instead of trying to control parents, bosses, work bullies , bullies from school, and doctors. I should've just whatever and accept.
I try to tell the doctors what i think is wrong, but they don't want to listen.
I get little fustrated, then they kick me out or threaten me.
They don't or wanted to know what i am going through.
My meds and foodstamps is tied with this social security case. If i lose, i lose meds, survival, and time to get stuff heal and clear out in my self.
If i go out and fill out a application for retail and wal mart stocker, then i lose my meds anyways. These companies, don't have insurance.
    Where do i start?
For now , i breath it out during a flare up.
All of my charkras is mess up.
