Today's video is a Dutch pour on a 30x40 cm. canvas, in beautiful brown, rose gold and gold, this time on a gradient background.

My recepies for dutch pour
Base coat (ordinary):
1 part paint
4 part floetrol (European)
1 part distilled water
Base coat (transparent):
75% floetrol
15% Liquitex pouring medium
10% water
Blow out colours:
1 part paint
2 part floetrol
water to same consistency as base coat
Colours used:
W/N burnt umber
W/N Vandyke Brown
W/N Titanium White
Amsterdam Pearl White
Tri Art Rose gold
Tri Art Iridescent gold deep
It's so giving to know, that someone out there enjoy my work, I love the fact that my efforts in this process, already has helped someone else.

And I can highly recommend it, it really helps me a lot to talk to her about what is going wrong, my thoughts about future pieces. And especially the fact that she helps me get rid of doubt and insecurity. learning from her is priceless 💖 and she has helped mee with troubleshooting on my pillow, and my issue with my colours breaking up, so I have a plans for trouble shooting. 😊

@@Heidi.P.L-PourLove I’m trying this technique today, you sure make the blending look easy, 😂, a couple of questions pls, 1)your transparent base recipe calls for “European Floetrol “, will it work the same with American Floetrol? 2) do you wet your canvas, before you start blending?

@annashaffer6288 that's great, go for it. 😊 With the blending I found myself rushing, wich made it a bit difficult, then I slowed down a bit, and that helped. 😊Yes the American floetrol works the same way, and I don't wet the canvas. 👍

Thank you so much Lyndy, I'm happy you like it. 😊 Yes it's a great blower especially for the small pieces, it's one I bought online, it's made for cleaning cars. In one end it blows and the other it sucks. I can show it properly for you in the next video. 😊

Uh I made that a long time ago, it was on a website, there were a lot of different stuff to choose from. I don't remember the name of the site, but I remember that I googled free intro, and I also believe I watched a couple of TH-cam videos on free intros just to see which websites people recommended. 😊

It is a mix of floetrol and water, which dry (almost) clear so you can see the background.

What kind of blow dryer is that? I love it.
Thank you so much 😊 it's a small one that both can blow and vacuum, the add showed it as made for cleaning cars. You can buy it online. 😊

Soooo Beautiful 💕 How long do you let the paint dry before you do the Dutch Pour and what do you put on top of the dried paint so it won’t run with the new paint on top?
Thank you so much Marcy. The background i add with the brush dries pretty quick, I would say 1-2 hours. Then I just pour as in the video, nothing done between the layers. 😊
@@Heidi.P.L-PourLove Wow! That’s Ahhhhmazing how the dried paint doesn’t lift up with the Dutch Pour. Does the transparent gloss in-between stop that from happening and can US Floetrol be used to create that transparent gloss in between the Dutch Pour? That is just soooo Beautiful 💕
@marcy353 you can easily use the us floetrol it's slightly thinner than the European one, but the ratio should work for you. 😊 And yes, it's really amazing and opens up for a lot of different opportunities. 👌😊
