Great video again, love seeing the process to capture stars and comparison of size of Ring Nebula vs Orion. These little things make a enjoyable watching experience. I vote for M13 the Globular Cluster.
14:43 this just shows how far away the ring nebula is, if it was as close as the great orion nebula it would appear almost the same size as running man nebula

The Ring Nebulae was one of the very first DSO I found by luck while sweeping the sky with a new 10" dob many years ago before I had any knowledge about DS targets. It was a great moment to see something looking like a faint blue bubble hanging in black space. Thanks for your videos. They make great sleepy time fun.
I find this perspective beautiful and brings me enjoyable memories. It reminds of my first views of M57 in my 6 inch newtonian in the late 70's. I had the privilege of dark skies in Eastern Oregon at the time. No bad spiders. Maybe an occasional black widow?
Lyra is one of my favorite constellations, and Vega one of the first stars I could identify. M57 is indeed a tiny jewelry about to be discovered. Vega remembers me again and again the "Contact" story. Nice video Antoine and Dolly, thank you!
Lyra is also one of our top constellations :) We love Vega because it is part of the Summer triangle and that's how Dalia started learning the stars. Thank you for watching :)
I freaking love this series. I am buying myself an Orion 8'' astrograph after seeing these vids. I am a novice in capturing DSO's just used my camera up until now without a tracker. I have thought about what to buy and after 3 weeks of browsing, I am sold for the Orion and I can see the results very clearly here and it is cheap. Thank you so much! I am only wondering if HEQ5 can hold this telescope or should I go for the HEQ6 or this Orion mount.

Nice video. The Ring nebula is one of the few Messier objects that actually looks very similar through an eye piece as it does when being imaged, minus the colour of course. I vote for M13 for your next video. Keep the videos coming!
Amazing job on both image acquisition and the video, as said by others the narration helps the video a lot. I would recommend you get a Gen 3 Night Vision to complement your imaging setup and will help you view everything you thought of live while you are taking images. Once you look through the night vision you would not want to look at the sky without it. :) :)
How many images did you stack together? And also, did you use an autoguider to get such a long exposure? I cannot get more than 30-40 seconds without guiding. I love your videos!
With my Celestron AVX mount, I've managed to get up around 180 second unguided exposures, but it does require the EQ mount to be quite accurately polar aligned. And with long exposures like that, it is more likely that something will disturb the mount and image, be it a wind gust slightly shaking it, or an airplane intersection the field of view.
oh yes we stumbled upon him so he grabbed the camera... haha. No but really we were disappointed when we saw how the sun rays were wayyy too much in the way.
FYI...Not a camel spider, its a sun spider variety. They eat other spiders and stuff. Good to have around. Creepy as hell though, ugly as they are. lol

You should get a barlow lens so you don't have to crop so much and you can keep some detail when the observed object is so small in the sky
