That is true, but even if you were in a well it would still be really good, and maybe someone would have tether or even a weaken grenade which would just be perfect but even on its own it’s the best warlock super in my opinion

Obviously not meta, but you can extend and increase the total DMG of the warlock super by using a shatter attack to cancel the freeze attack. This will make you only fire 2 freeze projectiles and increase the supers total dmg.
It's a 1.75 multiplier for bosses and 2.4 multiplier for majors and champs. Against bosses-498,757 Against majors or champions-684, 009. With fissures and the exotic the damage is around 910,000.
You can get even more damage if you know a trick with this super so it only fires one set of bolts then shatters letting you get way more freezes and shatters

Idk why people dont know this but Shadebinder can last for over 30 seconds if you do it right. (Swap exotics) you should give it a try @ninjy throw two stasis turrets down (with the exotic gauntlets), and then swap to the new exotic that increases shatter damage, pop super, use only the light attack (shatter) and keep spamming it. the turrets will freeze the boss.
Why??? The damage it does is so minimal i doubt it'll make a difference. Unless the debuff from shooting your own canon has a greater effect than others i really doubt there's a need for that.
Ninjy, can you try ballidorse with a team mate using agers sceptre? 1. Before you cast super have osmiomancy gloves to set 2 bleakwatchers on boss, and church 2 anarchy shots (plus arc surge if you want 22% damage increase) 2. Switch to ballidorse gloves and only shatter and not cast ice bolts; as it consumes too much of energy. And just shatter ONLY. 3. You will proc more shatter and damage. And ager will help with freeze as well. Also, BIG difference to note. When you shatter it doesn’t consume energy! So only the duration of the super is the concern as all supers are concerned Let me know if this damage test is worth it?
Why did you use tractor all it did was make the test more biased towards the one and done supers as for a few of the roaming supers tractor duration ended. It was needless addition that messes with testing
a) Both nova bombs do the exact same damage, problem is when the enemy moves out the vortex then it looses damage. I´ve tested it out multiple times on the prophecy boss who stands around and always, without any shadow of the doubt, did i do any different damage with 10 tests each. b) Did you use the fragment that increases threadlings damage since the super spawns them and it would make sense to equip that. c) Would´ve been nice to see the stasis super with the new exotic. But i guess you can update the comment to give an additional number. Or a small vid for that, whatever you´d like more. d) It´s probably not worth testing and a minor thing, but crown of tempest extends the duration of storm trance if you kill enemies with abilities or jolt. So you could squeeze more damage out of the super.
I would say Vortex takes the award for being better on most bosses because it doesn't block you and your allies' shots for 3 seconds as it flies. Certain bosses like Warpriest and Phryzia might walk out of it but it's still so much better not watching your fireteam not only lose their rocket damage but you also lose your super damage because they shot it.
@@meekumanu There is an easy solution to it. Just throw it above the boss. That way your team can still fire and it will track down to the boss anyway. :D
You wasted too much super with shadebinder. You don’t need to use both volleys on single target damage as it’ll just waste super energy for no extra damage
I wonder if this is with the 25% damage buff they said was coming to dawnblade. They also said it would use less energy but it still expired in 10 swings so I feel like neither of the buffs were applied
@@Releothunder with dawn chorus pre solar 3.0(solar 2.0) did more damage then its current state, then 3.0 came making way for really good builds at the cost of other really good builds. I personally preferred solar 2.0 for warlocks, but still enjoy 3.0.

execpt you just throw it and switch to weapons, you want to tell me i need to waste 10 sec and deal the same amount of damage someone can do it with the press of a button? on a side note, nova bomb has lower damage cause needle storm cant deal good damage against 2 targets close to each others, half of the damage comes from the impact and the threadlings explosion arent big enough to hit multiple targets (the full damage value) unlike nova which can deal same damage to both targets.

Did Needlestorm have the boots? I've seen it's approx. 10% more damage (plus aspect for more threadling dmg)
Chaos reach still needs a buff. Yes it deals a lot of damage, but that's with an exotic attached, and you have no safety for its long duration.

Please do these for all classes with best exotic pairings (synthoceps, cuirass, star eaters etc).
Thunder crash is the strongest with chest piece. Star eaters is the way to go. Celestial is good but not as good. That's all you need to know

It’s a 20% buff and it didn’t even used to be Able to get that many but it definitely got buffed it was dealing way less damage before
it used 10% before so if super didn't get drained by itself (like any super) it should have been 10 swords, which is not the case.
Dawnblade use to expire in 8 swings. It’s now 10
