Not understand the Gunner criticism. I never thought he'd start at Georgia, but he played surprisingly well. The OL and WRs were terrible, which was a problem all season. The strip sack probably created a hole we couldn't climb out of, then the kickoff return. Georgia has a talent problem, especially on the offensive side of the ball. And a coaching issue - several rooms played well below their ability.
Kirby's post-game answers reflect part of their problem. Kirby has gone downhill as a coach in my opinion. So stupid being aggressive with less than a minute with a back-up QB. Just giving ND momentum. Gunner will be great and honestly should have been the 2024 starter. OSU bought a title chance with 20M and MI is opened their checkbook. Where is UGA? It was great seeing Bama lose to Michigan twice in 2024. But, it makes you think when Michigan... has twice as many Bama wins than Kirby. Kirby/Bobo have both been outcoached numerous time the past 2 years.
I’ve heard Roddy say UGA doesn’t have the checkbook for NIL like other teams have. They’ve picked the pockets of the boosters for stadium expansion and fancy locker rooms so there’s not much left for NIL. UGA’s booster base is also an older “gentlemen’s” group that will slip a players mama $5k to get a player but they aren’t going to put $5 million on the table several times a year to get a kid that might take their money, spend a year at UGa, and then hop in the portal as soon as Oregons boosters say they’ll pay them $6 million to come to out west. NIL will end the reign of the SEC’s dominance forever.
@@robertdowns6051 That's understandable. Georgia doesn't have a billionaire base to fund their team. We need NIL to become regulated asap. Kirby only has so many years at the helm.
I'm as diehard of a Georgia fan as anyone, but I think our run has ended. Seems like a steady decline into a Richt-like era, probably for a host of reasons, some of which are out of Kirby's control. If we expand the NIL coffers, or it becomes regulated, maybe we can acquire top level talent again. But as of now, I don't see us fielding what's required to win it all anytime soon.
Your run hasn't ended, and you have Top level talent now. ND is a team that has really upped its recruiting the last 3 years. They're a really good football team. Games like this comes down to who can make the plays when it matters most. ND did, Georgia just fell a bit short. Great game to you gents and Go IRISH ! Go dawgs !!
The Offensive line was routinely unreliable this year and showed in this game the most. Gunnar played great and of course wide open receivers can't catch the fucking ball. What outcome do you expect. Good team not great team.
I hate to talk bad about our coaching, but Stacy Searels needs to be an analyst and let someone else takeover. I hate it for Bobo because he designed so many winners but our receivers and o-line failed us yet again. We cannot catch and we are undisciplined. Our left tackles were god awful. I hope Kirby makes the necessary changes.

THE PROBLEM WAS ALEAYW BRINGING BACK BOBO. OUR OFFENSE IS BONEHEADED NOW A DAYS LIKE THE OLE RICHT DAYS
