I too haven't been well for few months . In Sha Allah will surely try this recipe when I can . My three son who are quite grown up now love Sandan and other kokan dishes .

As you said there's very cold there you need to add 1/8 Tsp of Dry Yeast for fermentation and try to store batter for fermentation in a warm place for example in warm Oven. It's normal rice. You can use any type of white rice which is aged. Should be washed and dried at room temperature under cieling fan for 2 - 3 hours and then dry grind them.
