I have grinded 41k hearts to get MK1 Scorpion, Pyromancer Tanya, and Kold War Skarlet, and the krypt-gears. Meaning: i needed 3 runs per day (3 hours per day), for 6-7 days. I absolutely agree with you Starinsky: to grind krypt is absolutely hell - because its boring - no way to automate things. And yes - always the same.
I want him to be good because it's MK1 Scorpion what you said makes sense. At the moment it's really hard to get him but I still think he's a decent card but definitely not as good as MK11 Scorpion
I just bought the 50 dollar pack for a guaranteed and gambled with 10 dollar packs and got 3 out of 4 mk1 scorpions. Now he's fusion 3 and my best character
You can also use Erron's rare friendship piece along with the ceremonial pipe. The enemy will have a reduced chance of getting any positive kombat effect.
I did not bother to grind it. Because I'm not a person that play a game as if my life depends on it. I play a game for the fun of it. I'll get it when the time comes. Grinding for 1 full week when I have other things to do just don't cut it out for me. Thanks to the content star.
MK 11 scorpion still has the never ending combo (if you have block break) that insane dot and 25% lethal chance(thats why even same fusion i think he will look like he does more than mk 1 scorpion in terms of dmg) so he remains king. Also when mk1 sinergys will be aded maybe scorpion will have a chance but for now Syndel mk11 subzero and mk 11 scorpion remain the best team(no place for mk1 scorpion)

Mk11 scorpion and strike force scorpion are some of the best cards in the game so it's not the end of the world to not be on their level however this scorpion isn't even better than hellspawn scorpion. You could argue he'd be a beast at f5-f10 but getting him to that fusion would require you to throw away your household earnings so not very many can do that. The problem with new cards is that they can't be effective at f0 even though they have such unique passives. However, it's somewhat fair because it just feels wrong to constantly release a new card that makes the top 10 best cards. Personally I'd rather just have a card that's fun (unlike the krypt) so that i could see what sort of teams can be formed with them. Mk1 scorpion is not the best card in the game (not even close)
The updated Shirai Ryu tower gear had made MK11 Scorpion a terrible choice to use in boss fights, but other than that, MK11 Scorpion is still hands-down my most trusted damage dealer, along with Klassic Liu Kang. I got a copy of MK1 Scorpion and to be honest, I don't really like his moves set - he is fast all right, but his hit sequence is so different from the other Scorpion characters that I think it will take me time to get used to him. Not to mention, of course, it will be very difficult to max him without paying $$$.
I just beat the whole Nightmare tower with MK1 Scorpion Fusion 2, no tagging out, no Nightmare gear. No way near being max fusion. I did have to use one Rare Nightmare gear on bosses though.
You would have been able to do the same with fusion 0 mk11 scorpion as well. Mk11 scorpion is devastatingly good even at low fusions. He melts absolutely every card he faces.
Despite the obvious fact that he is garbage on support, he is also garbage in fighting because he doesn't have stun. Stun is what distinguishes your main fighter from support character. He is fast, but it doesn't mean he is safe . Shaokahn at fusion 0 is a beeter card than mk1 scorpion atvfusion 5 , because he has stun on sp1 .

Does anybody know how to get the max rewards in Krypt? At the start of a Krypt you have an interval and I did get once more than minimum plus some few hearts no matter what I do.
It’s a part of Spectre’s infernal chains if the gear is put on to a Scorpion/Smoke there’s a 40% (I think) chance of the Scorpion/Smoke pulling them back in with the spear if the opponent tries to tag out. If you’re wondering what Spectres infernal chains are, it’s a piece of rare gear from the Shira Ryu Tower that is needed for Scorpion’s brutality.
He basically serves you 0 purpose on low fusion, and getting him to higher fusion is impossible without paying lots of money. Has 0 support value which wouldn't be that bad if he was easier to max out.
This game is for die hard mortal Kombat fans not for wanna bee can’t be bothered complainers, I grind all the time even when I’m working I don’t care about the characters who aren’t that good I get them to add my to my collection I have every character and grind the Krypt to collect everything in it most of the time everything is maxed out but all the new equipment cards and rare characters I grind. No matter what. So everyone who complains or says it’s boring to grind I suggest you go back to playing Pokémon and leave mortal Kombat for the true warriors.
