"A $125,000 home bought 80s for that price with 1 acre of land will pay $800 in yearly property tax." from a friend whom lives there. There has been snow in Georgia (according to my friend), and it can get down to the 30s during the Winter. The summers have hit the high 90s. The temp range I give Warner Robins would be from 30s to 90s. The humidity is usually around 100% during the summer months and will increase the heat index up to 110!
@@LivingInWarnerRobins It has its advantages but the cons somewhat out weights the pros. I remember when I was a kid when my stepgrandfather came to visit us here and one thing he asked is were is downtown, my parents cracked up. I do have some fun memories here growing up however, this was back in the '80s.
@@GTSongwriter not that I know of the base is still going strong it’s the largest logistics base in the south east and land wise it’s one of the largest military bases in the world
@El Diablo Well I don’t think that would’ve happened. Your friend is not very well informed. The base is too much of an asset to the Air Force Logistics.
Biggest con(s) for me; I'm against any/all plans to build a low income housing right WHERE they should expand Warner Robins farmer's market to 3 days a week (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday). Improving on the low income homes that exist. Those that serve (cops, governmental) SHOULD LIVE in Warner Robins! I love my home! But you can tell the difference around Hwy96 area and Houston Medical area. Not having a real soul food restaurant and a nice jazz club to go dancing.
There are some Tax abatement rules in laws here in Georgia. Best person to ask about that would be a lender or CPA . I don’t want to give you any wrong information on that but I will look into it for you .
I grew up in south East Georgia and the nats really do make spring and summer miserable. You can not enjoy the outdoors and nice weather because of the nats.
They are a little annoying for sure especially if you mow the lawn in the summertime it seems like as soon as you start sweating they swarm you even more
DUDE... Go get some Skin so Soft and put that on your face, arms, etc. And You'll not have a gnats problem. A person that I worked with in Georgia whom was a long time resident during the summer months told me this secret (for which I don't know why you don't know it) and it works!
How are race relations in that area? Thinking about moving their from Indiana but I have children and I don't know much about the area. Are AA people safe and accepted?
Hey thank you for your question and watching a video. I personally as a real estate agent cannot say anything about that but there are multiple websites out there that give you Intel on democratics. If you would like me to share them with you let me know I’m more than happy to.
Right up the street. Is it highway 247??? It has been so long since I been in Mid-Georgia. I use to hang out at the mall and downtown. I used to go to a comic book store on the highway going to Macon from Warner Robins.

I’ve been in Georgia all my life and you never get used to the humidity.
Maybe some handle it better than others ?!
Moving from Orlando Fla to Warner Robins
Awesome are you excited?
I can tell you this also I’ve been here since I was 3 you never get used to the humidity
Some people do or at least it does not impact them as much as others.
I think only outside workers or people whom play outside a lot as kids get used to the humidity.
I'm moving soon to Warner Robbins 👌👌fron new York city
Awesome, if you need any help reach out anytime
I love window shopping too
I wish we would have something like that here in the area. Perry has a little downtown work and window shop
A 2.5 hour drive is not a good thing. It takes me that long just to get to downtown Atlanta. And I still have to drive back. That's no bueno.
In what regards is it not a good thing ?
@@LivingInWarnerRobins in that it's a long a$s drive!
Well me personally I don’t think 2 h to the aquarium is a long drive .

Property Tax depends where you at and if you have to pay only county or city and county!
Summers growing up in wartown we're almost unbearable. Somehow was dry and humid all at once. Around 115 degree heat index is hottest I've seen it

Great, what areas should I avoid? The statics online says the city is high crime.

It doesn’t have an inner city because the only reason this town exists is the base
GA GUY VLOGS That’s true :)
A friend told me they almost lost that base years and years ago!
