This doesn't tell us how hard or soft the cushion should be. How hard or soft the cushion is, is the most important thing. Everyone should know how to attach a pump and inflate it.
there are a few errors in this cushion adjustment video. First of all, the cushion is placed backwards in the cover (this isn't that crucial). However the process of properly inflating the cushion and checking for proper inflation is completely wrong and flawed. do not follow these instructions. In order to check for proper inflation, you must always place your hand under the persons' buttock while the person sits on the cushion and feel for proper immersion. there should be about 1/2 inch to 1 inch of air left under the lowest bony prominence (usually the sit bones or tailbone). Other than that, the instructional video on how to inflate (not adjust) the cushion is correct.
I'm afraid this demonstration video fell far short of actually showing you how to set up one of these cushions so they work properly to prevent skin breakdown. Once you have inflated the cushion and put it in the wheelchair you haven't got to make sure that you have the correct amount of air in the cushion so that it does what it's designed to do. You are not meant to sit on top of one of these cushions, you are meant to sit in it, in other words your backside needs to be submerged slightly.. You need to put your hand flat on the leaf the lowest part of the persons backside and adjust the air valve until you can just about wiggle the end of your fingers. If you can't move your fingers out all the there's not off and on the cushion, if you could move your fingers a lot then there is too much air in the cushion. An overinflated Roho could still cause skin breakdown, an underinflated Roho could mean that your backside will touch the bottom of the chair and therefore run the risk of skin breakdown.
easily fixed with tube patch glue. Also trying out using show goo on a cushion that had a patch that failed. Since Roho has a two year warranty it should have been possible to resolve with Roho instead of buying a new one.
Do not buy these you will spend all of your time putting patches on it, they constantly get holes in them and if you return it to the company they use that just to get money from you.
Actually, if you don't put holes in it, you won't have that issue. It's not like they magically have holes in them, they are caused by customer misuse. Whether it be you let your cat with their claws onto your bed to there being something sharp on your bed frame. These mattresses are incredible when used properly.
I think there are so many thumbs downs because in the first half of the video, this guy sounds as if he is talking to everyone as if they are dumb or something.

The valve of pillow must be on the front side of cushion. How to get it for adjusting while sitting on a wheelchair, if it back?.. 😊

Does the zipper got to be in the back and not the front. You have it in the front of the zipper part of it
