This is good, but what we really need is to have the squad ready to play when the season begins. Under the prior manager, the team was woefully unprepared to begin each season and was blown off the field. Those soft beginnings set the tone for soft seasons, and losing became acceptable within the club. Let’s hope that this season, the team plays with guts and determination every minute of every game, for the first time in several seasons.
