Well, i have to be honest, last weekend i rode my Gravel bike with a pair o Fila Sandal and it felt amazing. Like being naked for real. I know all the gear is important, but sometimes i don't want the burocracy. I just wanna ride my bike. And riding confortable, is priceless! :D

I went on 3 days holidays with my wife and I swapped to flat peddles on my Ritchey Swiss Cross and wore what the USA would call flip flops (insert thongs here in Australia) and you're right it's like riding naked, the air through the toes on a hot day was awesome.
I love Crocs. I ride in them because I don't care if they get muddy. I used to skate in them and wear them everywhere. If I'm worried, my nice shoes might get dirty
Wearing crocs while I watched this made the video even better. I was a croc hater…. Until I bought a pair. Nice to know they can be my cycling shoes in a pinch

It's worth noting that studies have shown pulling up with clips is basically useless. All you're doing is increasing your risk for strain or injury. Sadly it can be hard to un-train something like that after doing it for years.

I love my Crocs for a quick ride on the indoor bike during winter. As long as you're not doing sprints you'll be fine. (I do run flat pedals on ye old "Tacx" setup although I think I saw Crocs with MTB cleats somewhere... )
You need to attached the turbo and spoiler jibbitz charm to put it in super sports mode. That will add a couple hundred of wattage.

I put on crocs as a joke to ride my road bike and now their my main shoe for when it gets warmer I even got a croc with the adjustable strap cool guy style

I feel like for all these videos you have to do it sitting as well. Sitting and going max speed without having to sprint. Thats just as important imo, because with regular shoes i always have to keep sprinting to maintain my pedal pace, unless of course the wind is at my back.

Great video I ride on trails mostly so paved/ gravel in that area I would not recommend crocs and would suggest tennis shoes instead, due to after some riding your feet can slide up and bang against the front of your shoe

Croc comfort over a long ride would be a game changer. No numb feet
Try moving your cleats all the way back. You're not supposed to get numb feet :)
Go cycle-touring and your need for goals & targets in front of a screen might become one of those "what was I thinking?" things. ps packing a pair of flip-flops is well worth it.
Yes the price difference, pedal and shoe price compared to croc is more expensive

I was literally looking at grinders yesterday! I made some modifications to my Baratza Encore, but it still isn’t great for espresso. Any recommendations?
@@MitchBoyer eureka specialita is a great grinder for home use. if you want spent more money niche zero and the one from china d64 or something like that is great as well! if you want to grind by hand jx have great grinder dedicated for epsresso

@@MitchBoyer Im a MAMIL and I use my crocs exclusively to take the rubbish(Trash) out.
I wear thongs which leave me at a disadvantage .
the less stiff your shoes, more muscle power wasted to stabilize you feet. that is the theory why stiffer shoes is better.
my Shimano SD5 is like wet noodles compared even just Shimano XC702
