I drove one of those two lane mountain roads in this video in a big rig many years ago. It looked like a short cut around us101 at the time but then once I started going up and up and up, it was too late. Needless to say, it was a nice drive. I am just glad my trailer was empty. I have recently started doing time-lapse; some with my old trucking videos and now with my personal vehicle. I don't travel much right now so I just do what I can in my local region. I just hope I can start getting as many views as you are getting. GREAT VIDEO SIR.
very nice, I sufficiently enjoyed the use of music together with the moving images on screen. They truly created a more moving and entertaining effect during my viewing of the video.

im going to make a similar time lapse video but i wont be pausing the video.. any recommendations I'm taking the same route as you and will be doing it 1080P i have 128 gigs to use I'm going to make a NON stop recording from LOS ANGELES where i live to San Franscisco etc......Any recommendations on settings?
Hey, how long did it take you to do this drive? My husband and I are going to America in June/July next year and were thinking we could space the drive over two days :)
I live in Monterey and I know exactly where he went from 2:06 to 2:17. Passing the tunnel under Fisherman's Wharf he exited Foam St., then turned right on Drake Ave., turned right on Cannery Row, and then left into I think the Monterey Bay Inn.
+THEPLANETEARTH bad idea, it will take up too much space and editing it afterwards would be a absolute pain. Most of the time, you can only make it a certain length by speeding it up. You're better off finding a way to take pictures at intervals for that length
Well we didn't do it all in one go, we did it leisurely over 3 days and 2 nights. Stopping off for the night in San Luis Obispo and Carmel, while doing sightseeing on the way etc.

If every car had a camera on the dashboard or the hood it could all be uploaded to the web to make a "living" map
