I got a Raven-4X during one of the sales specifically for this build. My changes were an XL-245 (that's what I had) and another 1/2 ton of LMG ammo. I gave it a one-shot Phranken and dolled it up ... and let it languish in my garage. I dusted it off recently, and MAN, is it a hoot! I generally HATE lights, but I'm having SO much fun with this build!
couple routes to go here for the IS pilot. 1 being streaks. jenner, griffin and archer have quirks for missiles. the other route is to just have wubs (pulse cause lights are movin so much) on something fast and tanky like a wolfhound or a crab.
Baradul, could we see your take on the stealth Raven-3L? I run it with the main weapons of 2x SRM6 and max engine for speed. I would like to see if you have a better idea of how to use it.
Richard Henderson I am running stealth armor with 2x SRM6's. I had some extra tonnage to spare so I tossed on some small lasers for point blank damage with the SRMs
Nice video bud. One question. How do I get out of tier 5? I played around 40 matches and am doing over 400 score in every match (with 300 damage being minimum) and I still stuck at like 80%... help xd
Takes time, as a win counts heaps in weather you get that nice green arrow at the score board. Dropping with Mates or unit as a group helps heaps, as teamwork is the most OP thing in the game. Don't forget uav, spotting and other bits that add to the total score.
To be honest i don't really like that. RVN is already rather squishy and by putting that huge MRM into XLed Ravens side torso you make it even more pronounce and easy to hit :(
Love the videos, but man you have to admit even when you are in an assault mech you let others take the point. It's very, very rare I see a video of yours where you lead the way...and I get it, the tip of the spear is usually the first one to go.
chiller2k3 No, there are 5 states of matter: Solid, liquid, gas, plasma, and Bose-Einstein condensates. The definition of a fluid is a substance that has no fixed shape and moves easily from outside pressure. Hence, gas is a fluid as well as a gas.
only problem here is the base armor/structure numbers are so small that the return is pretty bad. suppose it was beefier like an urbie it'd be a good move.

What!! Mobility!! Madness! This is Turret Warrior Online
12:26 "I want to commit to him...I couldn't." -Are you saying you have commitment issues?
that's a dope ride. i like that it jumps and
The 4x is one of the best variants, love iiit!
I just tried the build and I like it. I changed two jump jets for AMS and 1/2 a ton of ammo.
Might try something like this on my -3L
Did thinking of MRM raven a few days back, but thought to myself, molten will get to show this build anyhow. =D
But it was Huginn and not RVN 4X. =P
When you did start quoting Bruce Lee? lol
What is a good light mech hunter for the IS? I have a love/hate relationship with them (love to pilot them, hate enemies piloting them)

Assassin's are the best light mech hunters with streaks. Pick one up I highly recommended it.

Two er large lasers.
Or do you mean you have Stealth armour on it too?

you're doin it right. just takes awhile.
USCM Pvt William Hudson thanks

dont, stay in T5, the higher tiers are misery.
gloomy grim at least I’d feel like good for being more than T5
Did 1371 Dmg with a Linebacker SRM boat, my highest so far :D
Am I doing it wrong when I respec my mech for new weapons? I have to end up re-earning all the experience each time. And it's expensive.
You are definitely doing something wrong, friend...
It doesn't have an Ac20 on it, I don't want it >:o
Holy shit what kind of crap build was that IFR using. 1xERLL and 3xERSL I run a 6x ERML, that runs a bit hot but is fun as hell.
Use kinda same build but alot more ammo and less jumpjets
that some kung fu stuff right there

Also trades at 10:55-11:20 were pretty awful :P

Not to be a physics stickler, but a fluid is anything that flows. So gas is technically a fluid.

You mean is because there’s a thing called “air flow” otherwise planes can’t fly.
Emberdrake I like the way you think
You seem to rarely put skills toward survival (at least from what I am seeing)...why?????? Gosh I find that tree very useful.
Michael Meredith he does.
Just not in likes.
The higher the tonnage/better the quirks the more viable it is.

Yay under 5min club
Also First.
7:26 Trump Warrior xD hahaha
