I'd say don't over do this method. The crowd can find it annoying after a few teases

Very old school concept but I love the spin on it with the effects and looping. Two things I wish we could have had in the vinyl days. Also love that last mix out, NICE!

Legendary as always mate. This is definitely becoming popular in the live DnB scene, nothing beats that 5 second tease of a vocal from a Dimension track or somethin and anticipating when itll come in fully to the set, if it ever does. Just that smidgen can make a world of difference on the floor!

Thank you, I'm only just beginning to dive into fx and technical stuff, I hadn't been as interested in club music before -sometimes it's discouraging because I may never be as into it. I have a humble neumark mixtrack platinum from 2017 + serato and will try to adjust to these instructions on that controller. I still get lost watching sometimes. I'm noticing that "release" button other djs use on more complicated controllers, probably very helpful as an effect. I'd like to do that.
Been using my third deck and the sampler to keep some beats consistent in the back but with the music I use -not strictly steady beats- I might even need to use that sync button every so often if I panic and don't trust my👌. Nothing like smooth transitions, I 've got to perfect those first. ✨

    Great video as standard Andrew,,
Not the same thing but I think some Dj’s over use mashups these days..occasional yes, but I went to a Bar on Saturday night and the djay was just playing mashups of popular songs, some of them didn’t go well either,, not sure if he was doing them on the fly or they were pre recorded or downloaded tracks but it became a bit annoying,, Staying Alive mashed up with Without Me vocals was one track I remembered..both good tracks on their own but not so mashed up..
Also I may be getting old, but playing 3 well known popular tracks in a minute gets a bit annoying when you’re trying to dance..

True! I personally hate most mash-ups. I only play one or two that I can work into a set. I heard a DJ on New Year's a few years ago just play the snot out of the "best of 20--" megamix. It was the worst!

Best thing to do is buy a denon dj prime 4. Then you have got 4 channels and the best controller there is. Have u ever played on it?
