- Ayy man listen today I decided to make a classic BedtimeMMA rant style video where I try to be a hater on every single UFC champion currently reigning including guys I like such as Alexandre Pantoja, Islam Makhachev, Sean O'Malley and guys I've dropped rant videos on previously like Leon Edwards and Dricus Du Plessis and Jon Jones. Exactly what I was thinking. His Colby fight should’ve been a clear and easy win for him as Covington froze the entire fight. Yet decided to let it go 5 rounds with barely any damage done to either.
MMA champs these days seem to not “fight to win” but fight safe and to “not lose the belt”.
Unfortunately at the very apex of the sport they don’t want to risk making 1 mistake…. Bc it could be the end for them. MMA 10 years ago was more entertaining imo but the skill level today is crazy nowadays compared to back then.
