What a rough looking shop or at least the shop door is!! I saw that coming after I saw them doing track work. Tenders just love to climb the inside of the rail and hop off backing up. Gotta love the chap who just picks up and walks away with a sleeper like its a popsicle stick or the other chap ballasting with a wheel borrow!! That way would take forever Lol!!
"off" the rails. Cause of the derailment? Why not *lubricate* the inside of the railheads? My great uncle's huge 4-8-4 freight locomotive had problems with some curves.
+microbusss The thudding sounds are the wheel tires slipping sideways to compensate for the rail differences as the locomotives moves, Tension builds up and is released suddenly leading to that sound, it's quite normal, Derailment here was probably due to the fact that the tender was light holding no water or coal.

Good video, everyone working hard, things on railways not always work to plan!
with such a historic locomotive they should have ensured track was in better condition.
Interesting to see it re-railed again.Wonder why it derailed.Sounded like the track was too tight with all that cracking
Could have been avoided with a little grease on the running face of the outer rail on that curve.
How/why did it derail right there? Would it have got back on the rails if the shunter had simply pushed it forward again?

don't you guys know what a bobcat is?
It seems like you keep getting derailments here. Any more than average? It seemed like you knew the track was no good, and was expecting it to derail.
Graham Bentley seems to be a big problem here. Watching the videos you notice that the track isn't great overall
That is a very nice looking engine and the derailment is not that bad I have been involved in worse.
+emdman1959 how did it come off in the first place
How? Had the rails spread?
Cold day in hell when I'd get under there to jack.
what is all the thuds?

Saw Percy!
No Thomas The Train please.
Thank
Why doesn't she move under her own power?
Know this was a year ago but there's no point. She's going straight from the railway to a lorry.
