So you expected the second helper to clean the whole day and still be a nanny in the middle of the night. When is her break or clock out time like other normal jobs? Did you even pay her enough to work 24 hours? I don’t think you were being reasonable to be honest. Being a nanny and being a cleaner are two different jobs for two different people. We as black people like abusing helpers and making them do both jobs for one pay. That’s ridiculous.
Hello Nanazille, I didn't expect her to work the entire day. My helper/nanny usually works half-days on Saturdays and takes Sundays off. She is compensated fairly, and I ensure she has what she needs. It's important to acknowledge that, as a community, we should avoid taking advantage of our helpers, and I'm proud to say that's not the case in my situation. In the process of selecting a helper, there's a clear distinction between a helper and a nanny. When scouting for assistance, the ladies are given the choice to work as a helper only, a nanny, or a combination of both. This information is communicated upfront, and they make a decision based on their preference. Having been through this process, I understand the importance of respecting their choices and ensuring a fair working arrangement. So, if you think I'm clueless about this whole helper-hunting process, think again. I Just wanted to drop some truth bombs about my helper/nanny adventures.😉
Lol so you basically saying working half day on Saturday and being off on Sunday is more reason for them to work 24hrs are you hearing yourself? This video is a shame the fact that you did it edited and posted it sana you need help there is something wrong
Well, if thinking it's a shame helps you sleep better at night, then sweet dreams. But I did mention she was compensated, so maybe try listening a bit more carefully next time. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and if you feel that way it’s okay! 😊
Kanjan mara Nanazille, make it make sense.. Siyizinja vele nathi as "blacks" because some of the stories we hear about our fellow blacks treating our helpers are disgustingly inhuman. First of all we do not know their relationship/contract agreement so we really don't know ukusebenziswana kwabo. I doubt that a 24hour service was expected from her. I don't think ubaba wezi ngane would've told the mother to stay the night & expected the nanny/helper to take care of everything whilst his also there. Looks can be deceiving yes but I doubt that is the case la kwaMohlala, they don't seem to strike like heartless ruthless people. uAunty has EVERY right to speak up whenever she's unable to continue or do something that's beyond her means and THAT shouldn't turn us into horrible monsters just because "we pay them" - NO ONE IS ANYONE'S SLAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's extremely pivotally important to have a good, transparent & honest relationship with abasizi betu because at the end of the day siyadingana. We need to be there for one another more especially in such incidences, singabantu, siyakulumiseka & siyapilisana futhi. I WAS NEVER THERE but I don't think uAunty was ill-treatment kulela khaya & I'm sure she got what she deserved for that.
@@SindisiweM my point is she was not doing anything all day regarding the taking care of her household or children, the least she could do was take care of her kids at night while the maid is resting. And as much as you are saying all this. I understand you.
